Hey... does anypony else have a villager who's moved away, yet keeps showing up in their shopping district?

Moose moved away (to my son's town) a few weeks ago... but lately, every morning when I go to check out the shops, he's there, claiming it's his favourite jogging path.   Is he glitched in my game, or is this just a thing AC does, having old villagers visit?  Though I'm leaning towards glitch myself, as it's been probably about a week and a half that he's been there every morning (and he's nowhere on the map of residents).

No, it it IS a thing. Some people wish that there was an option to invite them back.

You can get back villagers back in your town after they leave. But you need 16 other characters to move out first.

Ok, I'm completely convinced at this point, the more they like you, the more likely they are to try to move. I can NOT get rid of this wretched bear. The only ones who keep trying to move are Rosie, Merengue, and now (you guessed it) Hamphrey! And none of those are allowed to leave! I guess I have to try even harder to be nice to that dumb creepy bear. It would also explain why I keep hearing that the newest villagers are the least likely to leave. They'd be the ones who like you the least.

I agree with that, kat. This morning, I had my dear Puddles try to leave me. T_T At first, I agreed to it because "oh, well, I had fun with her, now I can get someone new" but then I called my boyfriend, and as soon as I said the words "Puddles is moving" I just burst into tears and... Yeah, I switched over to my other character and told her to stay.

I don't remember off the top of my head which parts of the set I have. I wasn't going to play for awhile-- since I'm getting ready for an out of town trip. But, if no one else can help, I'll order whatever I can get for you. ^^

LOL While trying to TT of course, Hamphrey decides he wants to play hide and seek. Because it's Hamphrey of course I can not say no. I have to find 3 villagers in 10 minutes and Hamphrey thinks I can't do it......The 3 villagers are Hamphrey, Graham, and Pinky. As if *I* can't find 2 hamsters (and a bear) in 10 minutes! Please! I spend half my day hunting for hamsters!
