Ugh, I hate my villagers right now. All day, all they've done is ask me for rare insects/fish - Sharks, Rainbow stags, etc.... I spend over an hour a time getting them their desires, and all they give me back is trash

Ugh, sounds like my villagers for the past few days. I'd even resorted to visiting another town (better weather) or taking an island tour in the hopes of getting what they wanted. Nothing but junk in return, so far. :/

i dont bother doing those requests anymore for that same reason. D: Only one ever gave me something great out of it.

Heh. It's funny, because, most of the time, I'm just DYING for somebody to give me some kind of request. Most of the time, mine just prattle on and on and on about how "OMG there are no events coming up". I'm like, yeah, isn't it great?! I hate events. Oh, and I get pinged constantly by my two jock villagers with the old "eye contact is essential to soccer" blah blah blah, I've already seen what they say for all the options available, I freaking hate jocks for this reason, I can't wait until they move out. And one time, Puddles pinged me twice to show me a letter that my other character wrote. >.<;;;  So... Yeah, at this point, I would be happy to go get something for someone.

Panda, my villagers did that yesterday instead. Things like "...Oh! I was just about to use the weather as an excuse" and the like. I think that's why I very gently TT a day or so ahead - One day they practically ignore me, the next they want super rares...

Interestingly, Olaf gave me his picture just for visiting, and another one for delivering a package to him. And that doesn't include the pic he gave me before! But still nothing from Walt

Ahh, I'm dying to get another villager picture. The only one I ever got was from Klaus, as a parting gift. The last person who I wanted a picture from.

I sometimes wonder if the more you try, the less likely you are to get them Walt has been with me since day 1 of the game's release, but he is the only villager that just won't seem to give me it! I never turn him down, I always get him what he wants, etc... But nothing!

These guys I've sometimes ignored, forgotten/declined their requests, etc. and they've given me their pics:

I don't have any villager pictures yet and I always get them what they want with very rare exception (even that dang creepy bear), so clearly I have no insight.

LOL Well all my male characters keep buying make up cases! (Likely the same one as they always end up giving it back to me and I shove it back in retail for the next guy to buy it.) I look at them and ask, "Why do you need a make up case??  Nevermind. I don't want to know. Just buy the make up case and move so I can put something else there." Quillson was the one who bought it today. I think it was Hamphrey before him, Papi before him, and Beardo before him.

Yes, my villagers are into weird stuff, too. Puddles currently has a copy machine which I am convinced she uses to make copies of her feet. Also, I posted about Peewee's adventure a while back in which he got all that girly stuff -- update! He gave me back the lovely table, LOL.
