I'm not too interest in collecting G3 ponies like I am the rest, but I saw Wysteria and Toola-Roola in the bag and I couldn't resist. The three ponies came in a bag together for just $3

Toola-Roola is in the best condition of the three. She has some scuffs I need to clean but shes nothing too crazy.

My second Wysteria! Her cutie mark is fading. I like how it runs all the way down her back leg, can anyone tell me about that? Its like a TAF G3 haha. She has scuffs but also tail rusting.

And Starsong.. Poor poor baby. Her mane and tail are cut. Her tail has some rusting (not as much as wysteria), but shes been colored all over! Upon close examination it appears to be crayon and colored pencil, not marker. I'd like to try and get her fixed up the best I can.

Can you guys please tell me tips on getting rid of tail rust, black scuff marks, and colored pencil/crayon?

I would think that crayon shouldn't be too hard to clean off. I would first try using a regular sponge, then get the harder marks with a magic eraser. That method has worked fairly well for me when I've tried to clean off pen marks.

And I love that Wysteria! She was one of my first G3s back in the day. I don't remember what that version is called, though. Sorry!

I use toothpaste to tackle tail rust! Works wonders for me. (: Gives my ponies a minty scent though! hahahaha

I managed to get the black scuff marks off with a magic eraser and the black spot for Wysteria's face scrubbed off too!

Star Song looks so much better now. The magic eraser got all that nasty color off. She has red stains on her cheek however. I might try and scrub it a bit more. I have no idea what to do with her mess of a hair, and I don't know how to rehair ponies. My mother and I were going to try and style it.

My first two real G3 toys (obtained a month ago almost) got cleaned up too. The lady I picked them up from had kept them well cleaned, but the hair was a mess. Poor Rainbow Flash had such bad frizz I had to cut it off because I couldn't control it! Luckily it was only half an inch and she had very long hair.

you can give a pony new hair but it is tedious , I have done it a few times .

Congrats, you did a super job cleaning them up.  A little goo gone might help next time with the crayon.
