Yes, she is super special, especially because I found her by reading tebrighteye's thread from forever ago, where she talked about seeing her at a store in Japan and not being able to buy her...but then eventually getting to. I remember reading that thread and rejoicing for the new pony owner, never guessing that I would one day own the same pony!

(By the way, since Japanese ponies are so rare and I don't really have anything to contribute myself... I thought it would be of interest to drop this commercial here. They are so rare, that I kind of doubt it. I am really happy that someone was able to post those Japanese keychains so that we get a little more variety than the Takara look.

Next is... Macau?

I'm not entirely sure they are as rare as people think... a bunch more have seemed to pop up within the last year or so. I don't think many of the owners are active on the forum-- or, for whatever reason, seem to really share them...
 
For me, I only have shown pics of the babies, and it was only because I wanted everyone to know they did exist... but nothing else of my collection.

Since the differences in the fakies intrigue me, I'll add this...

The yellow one in the center of that fakie picture is a real Takara baby! They are so hard to find...last year I had a chance to buy a set of real babies MIB with a bathtub and everything, but I passed it up in favor of my adult Takara.

I'm so glad to read this, I'd love a genuine Takara one day, but the price is so high at the moment. I prefer the babies over the adults. Do they ever pop up on eBay?

The babies are less common then the adults. There are 3 sets out there, and 1 single yellow one. (If I'm wrong, I can be corrected-- I haven't been around for awhile to pay attention).

The first set that was found *years* ago, the owner was told they were fakies and they sold them for cheap. :/ They haven't resurfaced.

Then a little yellow one was found by a couple while they were vacationing in Japan.

Then I got my hands on a tub set.

Then another tub set was for sale about a year ago, which MLPforever mentioned...

I agree with bandit the babies are much harder to find than the adults and the adults are rare!

I'm not sure if I've seen the authentic babies on eBay, but is know the tub was sold here.

I'm sure keeping an eye out for those now. I think I have come across some of the fakies. Will pick them up now, maybe I can make someone happy with those.
