BEAUTIFUL haul, Colorscapes! I'm still really sad that I couldn't make it this year, but I'm glad to see that so many $1 fakies went to someone special who would love them for what they are.

I hope to clean them all up, rehair those that need it, sunfade, etc. and then maybe offer my doubles up for trade.  They are such sweet babies!

I'm currently seeking the purple one, but in orange. She's my fakie grail!

And look! My very first Kid Kore pony! These are fakies that I have always glanced over, but they look so, so pretty in person! I did not expect them to be as lovely as they are!

Does anyone know anything about the girl on the far right? She's completely new to me. Her long neck makes me think of a Sweetheart Sister, but that doesn't seem right.

Here's a solo pic of her. The original owner saved a bad tail by replacing it with ribbons and decorating with flowers! Isn't it cute?

@hathorcat I really did!  Hubby was like wow, how much are those worth?! "About $1 or less a piece."  He's so used to my collecting that he just frowned at me as if to say why bother. lol. 

@Salli that is awesome!  Exactly what the contest was meant for (as well as fun!)

@Rachel-Eyes congrats!  Kid Kore ponies are beautiful!  I have the blue baby and am searching for the blue adult, good find!  I have a pink girl like your purple one if you are interested.  I'm not sure where that Firefly looking girl hails from, but Roogna collects them

Oh wow, I never even noticed the connection to Firefly! I feel pretty lucky now, because I know that Roogna collects a lot of really unique and htf fakies! I've been calling her "lolita fakie" because the seller and I both have a mutual friend who hooked us up when she saw that she was selling ponies. They are both in the Indiana lolita community, so I'm assuming that this girl just had lots of pretty, frilly things sitting around that could go into the creative reconstruction of a toy. That's why I like her so much. In fact, I have her categorized as a custom, because I think she did such a good job of making it her own. Gah. I'm in fakie heaven.

Colorscapes, do you think you could PM me a want list of your fakies? I might be willing to do a trade! That is, if I have anything you're after. (Not ready to let go of my Kid Kore, since I just got her yesterday, but if I ever find another blue one I'll let you know!)
