This isn't recent but it's stuck with me. In this case I'm the one recieving kindness.
I got into a car accident, rear-ended a guy on the freeway. He and his car were unharmed but my car was totaled and I was in pain, sobbing, and overall freaking out. He kept my car door open, walked me through what to do (how to turn on hazard lights, etc), and called an ambulance for me all while holding my hand and assuring me the paramedics were on the way.
I was taken away by the ambulance and the guy drove away after dealing with California Highway Patrol. In the end, he never even filed a claim against me. I don't know his name or anything about him, but even after I put a dent in this guy's day and potentially could've hurt him he was still so kind to me.
Thank you, guy I hit in Monrovia. I have no idea who you are but I wish more people were like you.
