Anyone interested in these toys? also some ID help?
« on: August 06, 2013, 05:47:37 PM »
I have this bunch of random toys and was wondering if anything here is collectable or worth anything before I donate them away.
The lion cub on the right is Schleich, and an old one at that (net says it ran from 1992 to 2003 but it looks much older than my schleich that are from late 1990s).

If you're interested in anything, let me know, I'm practically giving them away (maybe charge a dollar or two on those that I recognise).

I know the little green bowling pin looking one is called a Barbepapa (possibly Barbapapa)...French for cotton candy. It was a cartoon that ran in the 80's and is collectable :)

thank you! :)
Now, I will have to admit that I am a total noob when it comes to Pokemon and say that I am not sure who is from pokemon here. Is it the big blue guy, the small pink round guy and the white thing with blond, star-like hair? anyone else?

Yes, that's correct. Blue guy is Dewott, round pinkie thing is Jigglypuff, and star guy is Jirachi. I don't see any more Pokemon, but it may just be my eyes. (That and the fact that there are over 600 of them now. It's harder to keep track these days.)

On another note though, check the markings on Jigglypuff for a year. It's a first generation Pokemon, so it may be vintage. (I have no idea how that would affect the value, but it's still always a good thing to mention if you can!)

Awesome! Slowly getting to the bottom of it all :)
The twin creatures muct be from some cartoon or something, they have 1998 Warner Bros. stamped on them.

Oh yes, and the pink pokemon has a metal ball in it so it can roll on the surface. It is marked 1999 Nintendo and 1999 OddzOn inc.
The white pokemon just says 2010 Pokémon and the blue one 2012 Pokémon/Nintendo, made for McDonald's (weird since we haven't had a McD here since 208)
