Good news, everyone! Today on my regular toy hunt I popped into Coles. Webina, Owlmanda and Lullaby were hanging out on the peg, acting all cool... and knocked down, lying on the shelf below them, was a very special card with a metallic border and a sweet little furry face waiting within!

The bio on the back of his card struck me as a little odd, and sure enough, it's different to the one The Zelfs AU website. Over there it reads 'A rarity amongst Zardenia with mighty stripes of white, his magnificence stays in the shadows of night'.

The feline family gathered around as soon as we came home. 'Decard him! Decard him!' they cried. 'Release our oldest brother!' Who am I to refuse?

Quite a few of the carded Zelfs I've gotten have had really weak glue, especially on the right side. Some were hardly attached at all, and Snowphie was one of them by very carefully running my fingernail under the edge, the bubble peeled off with hardly any damage to the card itself.

The metallic card that shines rainbow colours is a nice touch. My Snowphie is #1823, the back of the little charm didn't show up in the photo but it's the same number.

Snowphie comes with a special page in the bag with his pamphlet and hair bands, detailing how to take care of his flocking. I love this little detail, as they are toys made for little kids, teaching them how to take good care of delicate items is great.

Here he is all freed from packaging. Sooo fuzzy! His hair also feels different from regular Zelf hair. It's very soft, fluffy, and light too. It doesn't droop down with gravity like my other Zelfs hair does, it stays straight up in the air despite later brushing it sideways and downwards to give him a proper mane. You can see in the last photo in this post, it's very sticky uppy.

I just adore his markings. Instead of plain straight stripes like Catsby, he has filigree designs with three love hearts on his forehead and a big one on his back.

He has a furry tail tip, with molded bumps and grooves.

Gorgeous light blue eyes, and a unique little molded neck ruff unlike any other Zelf in my collection. The small ruffs on either side of his face matches it nicely. It's difficult to photograph because it's so small and unpainted, it blends in to the flocking.

AND three wee little pink dots to simulate paw pads on each hand! I can't believe the amount of detail put into this one little guy, it's incredible!!!

Finally, I release him in to the wilds of his family that have waited so long for him to come home. All we need now is for S3 wave two to be released, then we can pick up their father Talon.

noooo! I coulda sworn your location said AL as in Alabama but it was late at night when I saw your post. X_X darnnit! I dont think we have them here. IT seems like only Books a Million and Toys R Us carry Zelfs in the US. Such a pity!
