Just out of curiousity, is anyone collecting the larger Zelfs?

I've been just randomly buying Zelfs here and there, but so far I seem to have more of the larger Zelfs right now.

Congrats on finding Jewley, Tararawr! I understand the need to put her up on ebay, though I wish you had put her up for trade here on the Arena so your fellow collectors could have offered something valuable to trade for her!

@Sora - I know some of us are collecting the Large size, but personally I don't like the sculpt of them. Their heads are weird and squarish and a bit too big, which isn't cute to me, like the medium sized sculpts are.

Those prices on the jewley Zelf are crazy.

I haven't seen them in any of the stores around me. I don't have a TRU close or I'd try there. I wanna pick up one or two of those series 2 ones.

I know, that's how I felt with mine! My mom is planning a big trip and selling all kinds of stuff on ebay to raise money for it, and she looked up Jeweley just for kicks. I felt bad because I couldn't really justify keeping her when I could sell her for that much and put it towards my mom's trip or something. But I collect toys because I enjoy them, and I would have been sad getting rid of her. And since I got her at the store for retail price anyway...I just went ahead and opened her and I'll enjoy her and that's that! I think you should do the same-- enjoy her for what she is and don't worry about how much she could potentially be worth, or it'll ruin your enjoyment of her, and that's not what toys are about!

I agree! I have always felt that toys are meant to be played with. If I manage to get a Jewley through a kind sole trading me one here on the Arena (*crosses fingers!!*) then I will be deboxing her so she can have some air! ^_^

Open it! I always say that if you prefer them deboxed, then go for it (and this is coming from someone who loves most toys in the boxes)! I've never really been fond of the whole box vs debox thing.

@Dragonflitter - Yeah, the medium ones are definitely cuter. I just don't seem to find them very often though

Thanks guys for making me feel better about opening ruby up!  I mostly debox my dolls and other toys. Either they are on display or my son plays with them  such as transformers and lego.   
Now a big question is what do you guys do with the boxes keep or throw out.  I have been keeping a lot of boxes of my dolls.  The zelfs I just kept the cardbacks and the little leaflet inside.

For Zelfs I keep the leaflet and the cardboard base of the packaging (the thing with the Zelf picture on the front) but I throw out the plastic bubble and the cardboard back. ^_^

  Yes I keep the part with zelf picture on front also.  True the card backs were all the same.

I found Jewelry! I didn't have any luck finding Miss Clover so I'm glad I at least found this one. She is actually much prettier than Miss Clover anyways.

I *may* have somehow acquired Garny, Snap jack and Lunanne....they are so pretty! I have kept all the receipts too. You US peeps are so lucky to have the rarer ones floating about on shelves!

I would also like to know if anyone has seen Webina. Or medium lady B; I've seen her in large but I don't want to start with collecting those! It's bad enough I have three lil' Zelfs as well as the medium ones
