Replacement wings for EqG Dolls?

I have no idea where to put this so mods feel free to move!

I have the Fluttershy and RD deluxe dolls but I don't like their wings, clear sparkly things aren't how RD rolls. Are there any replacement wings that would fit them? I was looking at Plastic Curves's Monster High wings but I don't know if they would fit.

The attachment in the back looks like it's the same size as the small Disney Fairies' wings.  You could try those, as I know there are some fairies out right now that have very bright, colorful wing designs.

I was thinking about doing this with some Sculpey UltraLight. I swapped FS & RD's wings so the colours would match their bodies, but butterfly wings don't look right on Dashie ;P

This is why EGs aren't on my wishlist, they don't follow suit with their characters. Fluttershy and RD are not fashion nutters. In fact the only pony obsessed with glamour and fashion is Rarity and her doll doesn't look as fashionista as she is.

*sigh* I give up, I may or may not pick up Pinkie, depends on how she looks when i get a chance to see her in TRU mid August

That's what I may end up doing if Plastic Curves' wings don't work. My sculpting is iffy at best though.

I just wish Fluttershy's wings were yellow. Those purple wings look strange on her. For now, I'm just displaying her without the wings.

Oooh...or what about using MH wings as a base and just customising perhaps colour and attachment?

I tried my Disney Fairy wing hypothesis...experiment failed   The Disney wings' attachment is just slightly too big to fit EQG.

Customizing MH wings sounds like a good idea!  Then you wouldn't have to worry so much about sculpting!

Just a warning about EG Pinkie Pie doll...those eyes tend to stare into your soul O.O  ('m weird, I know)
But look at the brightside about Fashion dolls Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy... they have non-painted on tops (I'm not bothered too much by the fact, but Hasbro did reuse the standard Twilight Sparkle doll with the 2 pack with Sunset Shimmer and you can see TS's top mold even though she has removable clothes and that's kinda bugging me  )
I actually want Rainbow Dash in this form  and normally I don't like her.

I haven't seen RD's wings any different color, but this picture was the first I noticed the boots so need to re-check everything I find.

I had recently customised two brushable Fluttershys, by cutting their wings off mwahaha... so with a little carving and a bit of superglue I had two pairs of wings.

Her plain wings curve forward slightly. Her sparkly wings (pink and green glitter sequins) curve away from her.
I fashioned a crude peg out of spare plastic from all the hacking, so they sit in her back but not very tightly, only for display.

I reckon basically any pair of wings from another toy could be customised to fit, either cut down the peg carefully or built it up a little. Using plastic and super glue worked in my case but not all plastics are as agreeable. If you're careful with them clay would probably work fine, but they might break. Good luck

Those custom wings are so cute!  I don't think I could chop the wings off a brushable though

Aww, I wish I knew there was a different color wings for Fluttershy. I grabbed the very first one I saw, though I'm pretty sure both had the purple wings. What color are Dash's wings? It's hard to tell from that pic.
