Nothing....like my usual pony luck with any resale shops/yard sales around here   :stressed:. Kind of disappointing and frustrating. So.....

Show me your luckiest find! Story too!

I wish there was a cool story to go with them, but I'm afraid it's the age old story of spotting a tub of toys and digging to the bottom. I also got Bright Eyes comb, Caramel Crunch, NC Baby Lemon Drop, UK Play Time and a holiday G3 that time.

I was at a local flea market and it was a CRAZY hot day and the place was kind of dead and I was about to bounce when I thought I will check this last row....I turned the corner and about had a heart attack

I have never had any luck at that store in my town! They really do kind of stink when it comes to finding anything nice in it. I have not have a pony luck with finding things second hand yet.

My best one was this little girl, about a month ago. I found her at Goodwill for 49 cents. I only found out about a few days ago that she's slightly sought after :) She's in really great condition. Her hair was kinda messy, but after I gave her a wash it still has a lot of curl to it.

She's actually my mom's best find but she was bought for me.  She was in a bag with Milky Way and Tootsie for $3.

mine so far is finding a wingless morning glory for half a buck, and this year finding a gen 1 gusty who was very dirty but now is perfect for a buck.

my luckiest finds have been:

TAF buttons (with some factory curl) in a bag with some g3s for 3 bucks.
Complete Friendship Express basic train set (for 5 bucks)
G4 Sweetie Swirl in a bag with some fakies and a forelock applejack

Non-Pony:

A 90's Girl Guides of Canada Brownie doll (Ontario Edition.) I grew up with one of these and took her to all my Brownies meetings. It got lost when I moved when I was younger, And I found her again in a Value Village for 2 bucks a few weeks ago. She now sits atop my pony shelf next to my Fashion Styles.

The only G1's I've found so far are Sweet Tooth, Dancing Butterflies, Heartthrob, SS Buttons and Sparkle Star Dancer. 3 of which I already have.

Non pony - I found 3 UK Carebears at Value Village (I'm in Canada)!!! They're worth around $200 each according to ebay and price guides. So that was super exciting since I have a Carebear collection (not actively collecting but I pretty much have them all except for the super expensive UK cousins). They were all mint too!

I miss the days of about 10 years ago when I was able to buy tons of ponies at garage sales for $0.10 each and I'd go to the flea market every weekend and find a bunch of ponies. *sigh*

With her stand for only .25~ and she is so perfect, factory curl and no flocking rubs in sight. I found a heap of other G1's with her and a bunch of accessories but I can't find the photo of the whole pile.
