The eyes use decals, but both needed some touch up paint.
Everything else was hand painted.  No airbrush :P
The goal I was striving for is making it look factory.

I make them myself.  Transparent water slide decal paper, image editing software, and lots of patience.
The printer does much smoother gradients on the tiny scale much better than I can.

I didn't want it to look exactly like the ones that have been released, so if Minty ever did get a wide release it would still be a unique pony.

Oh, they've all been signed on their hooves as well.

They're amazing! Royal Riff's muzzle is so smooth and even, what a handsome guy!! He looks like he came from a factory mold!! Plus, your lines are so even and clean, their cutie marks are beautiful.
