Most of my childhood ponies came from garage sales, but my very first pony was a new SS Cupcake. I wonder if my mom has a picture of me with her in the family albums, hmm. Probably not. Your pictures are so sweet, you look so happy with your new friends!

Awesome pictures :)

I only have a couple of me as a little girl with ponies...all involving Applejack for some reason. I had CP and shy pose AJ so I guess she got a lot of attention.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

Time to bump this thread while it's still warm. Today I received some surprise mail from my sister. I think I was 7 or 8 when I got my first camera to immortalize Important Things. My sister had somehow come across some of these snapshots and sent them to me... Spot the real Hasbro pony! Experts may enjoy some Barbie, Sindy and G1 LPS as well.

Who's who in Fakieland?

This is Ponikoti ("Pony House"). We didn't have an official MLP building, so a dolls' house had to do (we never liked it much - "Pony House" is the only thing I remember us using it for, and we imagined it was the Paradise Estate. With fakies.)

As you see, I gave my (predominantly fake, but you see who is loved best!) ponies sky- and space-related names, which I have translated when they're not obvious. Venus, Night Sky, Little Night, Neptune (?? - we may have renamed her Venus at some point) and Comet belonged to my sister. We both had a set of pink winged unicorn + green "MGR" fakie + yelllow rearing baby, which caused some confusion. I'm not sure if the doubles (marked "???") ever had names, save for the yellow babies (one of whom looks like he's drowning in a bathtub; I remember he's supposed to be doing the dishes), the Moons 1 and 2. I also had Milky Way the Lanard fakie's foal, called Tähti (Star), but for some reason he's not shown.

Oh I love these pictures!

And that fakie-land dolls house is fantastic - I love all the names. i wish I had some photos of me playing ponies when I was little. I do have one of me aged 19 out drinking with my best friend and AppleJack but I dont think thats quite the same ;) We kept putting Applejack in the pints of cider.... because she liked apples. *Ahem* that was my student days ;)

Lol - the 6-year-old me is flattered. I may have remembered why Star is not in the photos, he must have been lost and needs to be rescued by the rest of the bunch.
