lol, WOW!! That was awesome! I had forgotten about alot of that stuff, but once I saw it again it was like I was a kid again! ^-^

I actually had my original 80's Caboodle up until a few months ago when I moved. O.O

Ooo neat! im a 90s girl but with my mom and aunt being teens when I was little, I grew up as if I was in the 80s sometimes! :p I def had those scrunchies, hair clips, even one of the plastic chain link bracelts! We grew up loving rainbow bright, mlp, cabage patch kids, smurfs, thick plastic cartoon character lunchboxes, etc!

I actually had my original 80's Caboodle up until a few months ago when I moved. O.O

I use a Caboodle case for my pony restoration stuff!

I read some of that. I think it was cool going back to my childhood. I kinda miss some of those items. Though I kept my pound puppies and my cabbage patch cornsilk doll.

Yep my childhood too and I still have lots of those toys...rainbow brite, strawberry shortcake, lisa frank stickers, those bell clip charms but sadly not the ones from my childhood just ones I found, and of course ponies, oh and still have my cabbage patch doll

Eraser smell! 
I wasn't quite old enough for some of these at the height of their popularity but had friends when I was a kid that were a few years older and friends with older sisters that were into a lot of this stuff!
I think I had 1/2 of the barrettes from that pic, and one of those glitter wands. I remember really wanting a Caboodle at one point.

I agree with most of those but a few I don't because I either wasn't exposed to it or it was because I was born in the early 80's and wasn't old enough lol.


1. Popples- had a small purple one and also the pop up tent.
2. Plastic charms- yep had some of those too!
3. Tinkerbell peel off nail polish- I always wanted the Tinkerbell products but never had any.  I think I had some peel off nail polish in the early 90's that was possibly barbie brand?
4. Jem- best cartoon/doll ever!  She's my main collectible today!  Very fond childhood memories of Jem.
5.  Barettes- yep had a lot of those too.
6.  Sideways pony tails- I had sideways pony tails sometimes, who in the 80's didn't?
7.  Get in Shape girl stuff- I didn't have that stuff but I had leg warmers.
10. mlp- yes, ponnieessss.
11. cpk- both my brother and I had cpk dolls.
12. Rainbow Bright- yes, she was cool.  Even had my mom make a rainbow bright cake for me when I was 4 years old.
14. Scrunchies- had a drawer full of them, even though the 90's.
15. Stationary + Poochie- I had lots of cool stationary but didn't know about Poochie then.
16. She-Ra- yep, had those too.  Used to play He-man and She-ra with the little boy down the street.
17.  Cereals- I don't think I ever had those cereals pictured but I remember about the cool cereals back then.
18. Pound Puppies- I had baby pound puppies and a hand made full sized adult pound puppy (she was made out of dark brown velvet- I love her!).
19. Caboodles- I didn't get one until the 90's but I loved it and wish I still had the original one I had but I do have 4 of them right now lol.
20. Swatches- I didn't have a real swatch but I had a copy cat brand one.
21. Glitter Batons- I'd look at those all afternoon, so glittery!  I even had a big one with a jump rope connected to the ends.  Not sure what that was called though.
22. Lisa Frank- so awesome!  Yes, grew up with it and didn't even realize all that I had until later in life.  All my original Lisa Frank stuff is gone.
23.  I like those movies but didn't watch them until the 90's.
24. erasers- yes, I had a bunch of erasers and different pencil collections too.  Why didn't they mention the awesome stickers from the 80's?
25. Sweet Valley High- I liked these books but didn't read them until the 90's because I couldn't read until then lol.
27. SSC- Who didn't have SSC dolls?
29. Easy Bake Oven- Didn't work well so my mom put it into the real oven to bake.
30. Glow Worm Plush- I loved mine!  Would sleep with it all the time.  It didn't want to seem to turn on well though.
31. You Can't do that on Television- yes I watched this show.
34. My Two Dads- I don't remember the couch but I used to watch this show.
35. jelly bracelets- I think all girls had these lol.
37. jelly shoes- I loved my jelly shoes.  I had purple and pink ones.
44. Little People- If you didn't have these they seemed to be in all the doctor offices too.  I know I had the barn and later on had the castle for a short time.
45. Lip Smackers- These were awesome.  Maybe I she go buy some more at the store.  They still sell them right?
46.  Sweet Secrets- I had a couple of these figures.
47.  Care Bears- I had a lot of Care Bear stuff, even the bike with basket in the front lol.
48. t-shirt clip- I think I only had built in ones on a few pieces of clothing- you couldn't take them off.
50. Mail- Yes getting mail was exciting.
51. NKOTB- I had so much merchandise, it was crazy!
53. See Through phone- I think my parents still have one of those in a spare bedroom.


I wish some of this stuff would come back and also just as it was, no updating lol.
