Italy Lickety Split
« on: July 23, 2013, 09:11:38 AM »
I have italy Lickety Split but the body colour is strange. It's brownish, and mane and tail are white which might have been pink.

Have anyone seen brown italy Lickety Split before? Does anyone own one? I've done bit picture research but haven't seen any. Why my Lickety Split is brown? It's no dirt or anything like that. Is it some sort of colour variant?

It could be that she is discoloured :( Do you have a picture of her? :)

Really? I've never seen pony with discoloured body before. If I open it, it should be pink inside?

She does look discolored to me. She may or may not be pink inside, depending on whether it's sun damage or just aging of the plastic mix. The hair is most likely faded, even if there is no trace of pink left.

She does look discoloured, the Italian pink ponies do seem prone to fading or turning a funny colour over time.

If she had been left in a hot/damp environment or bright sunlight that would all affect the colour of her plastic.

This sounds very plausible as well.

It could even be smoke damage - that can also discolour.

still wild to see since I usually associate that kind of fading with a cotton candy and firefly :-)
