Mrs. Cake set, where is it?

I've kinda been out of the buying loop right now. Is this set in stores yet or yet to be in stores or is it overseas only?

I don't believe it is out yet.  I think that is one of the disadvantages to Taoboa.  We find out about stuff so early that it seems like it takes forever for things to actually show up in stores.

Cheez Whiz, I don't know what's going on with my WalMart lately, but they had it.  I was in more of a mood for blind bags (need more friends for Flim & Flam :lookround:) so I didn't pop for it, but my son and I admired it for a while before putting it back on the shelf. ^.^  If a rinky-dink WalMart in Canada can have it, it's *got* to be coming soon to a toy aisle near you... take heart!

Do you remember the price? I find Toywiz's $45 to be kinda...hard to believe as MSRP.

Fake edit: BBTS wanted $17. That seems far more accurate.

I already spotted these sets some times in some shops here in the Netherlands.

I noticed with Toywiz that the more popular an item the faster the price goes up.  I wanted the box of Wave 8 blindbags, but there is no way I would pay $90 for it.

Yeppers, it was $16 and change (something like $16.47 or $16.84 - I'm number-dyslexic, so it's good that I remember the sixteen part ;)).  Certainly not a forty-five dollar set... cute as those accessories are, I'm holding out for the Mr. & Mrs. Cake set with their even cuter babies. :squee:

And I did see *that* set today at TRU.  Along with the other deluxe set from the premiere.  But I just couldn't bring myself to pay $15 for it.  Maybe if I get myself a BOGO coupon, I'll purchase both sets.  I also saw all of the EG dolls and the small castle playset.  I did not see the baking set.

Yes I would not go with ToyWiz on an accurate retail price :P

It is a worldwide release set so it just depends when it will hit shelves in some areas. As we can see its out in some areas, its not in others. I would just keep an eye out on the stores where you have the largest MLP displays and I am sure you will spot it at a decent retail price soon enough.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

I have not seen it yet either in person. I will be going out of town later this week and will check out a few stores.

I saw it at Toys 'R' Us the other day along with the Elements of Harmony set. I think each of them were around $14.99. Pictures of them are in my latest brag post.
