Congrats! Super cool and I hope she finds a nice home )

Thanks!  She has a nice temporary home right now.  I just know someone out there would appreciate her way more than me.

I don't know... The blue marks on her head makes me think she was blue at one time and has faded.

...and the fact her stars are pinkish as though they've faded a lot.... I'm sceptical as to whether this truly is a white bluebelle.

No you are both right she would once have been the same colour as a regular Bluebelle. Its just that the pigments leach/fade out of the plastic and leave her this white/creamy colour. As mentioned before you find Bluebelles in a range of different "faded" conditions - some blue with white patches, some white with blue patches, some all white, etc. So the "white Bluebelle" is a known phenomenon but it exists due to chemical changes not due to her being released that way.

Ah fascinating to hear, thank you for clarifying.  ^.^

So basically I could stick mine in some peroxide and I could have a rare white Bluebell? Pretty funky now you mention it.... XD

No its not peroxide which causes the fading, we are not 100% on what it is; but its more a chemical instability in the pigments and the plastic which cause the colour to bleach away.

Its the same thing as how sometimes you can have a Windy or Seashell and when you clean them or wipe them down you can have a purple residue left from them. Clearly the pigment mix has some issues and its most apparent in these 3 ponies and most significant in Bluebelle.

Congrats! She looks great and would be worth at least around $60 since both her head and body are white :)

Does anyone else know of a fair price for her?  As I said, I really have no interest in oddities, I'd love to sell her.

I think $50-60 would be about right. I've been offered that much for mine and she's super similar to yours. ;)
