My summer challenge!

I plan to read 100 books by the time september rolls around! Right now I'm on book #53.

I was wondering if anyone would like to join me in the challenge for the second half of summer? 50 books in july-august.

You should use Goodreads for this They even give you a little progress meter.

I agree about Goodreads. I gave myself a teeny challenge of reading 15 books for this whole year and I'm already at 13. I don't think I can do 100 or 50 though, but I can certainly challenge myself to try more than I thought I could read.

Goodreads was too much work for me than entering it into a spreadsheet, oddly enough. I just kept getting distracted with all the other features. But maybe I could set up a group on there or something...

join Shelfari and add me! It's pretty easy to use, and I love it. I'm pretty bad about updating. My good friend and I always have a competition each year to see which person can read the most. Lots of times I fail, but I also try to explain reading a novel seven times a day with each class should totally count as seven books.

Good luck read those books! I'm bad about updating my list till I've read a ton and forgot half of them.

I'd love to join but i'm a member of a sci-fi/fantasy book club so I am already overwhelmed , in addition to all the professional literature I have to go through for my thesis. Good luck though! that's a pretty amazing feat if you manage it!
