Zelfs (New Trolls)

Here is another comparison.  The Zelf is one of the medium-sized ones.  I never collected Troll dolls, but I love the Zelfs.  I think they're so cute!

I used to have trolls (I only have one now, dressed as an astronaut) but, though I loved them as a child, I probably wouldn't re-collect them. Definitely going to get more Zelfs, though!

Anyone wants to help a certain zelf-starved Singaporean achieve her dream of Zelfs?

I dont think ive seen them in SG, and Pega Sue stole my heart and wont give it back. So did Luanne. And Miss Clover. Enough.

i thought there was something awfully familiar about them more then just the troll toy thing

there had to be a connection as to why i loved them so much, i am huge fan of what that  Brian Froud has created.
more labyrinth then dark crystal, that scared me when i was a kid

Hahaha the resemblance is uncanny.

*GASSSP* I love your Pegasue! Her hair is really different from mine. Mine has the hair layered different, yellow and green on the outside - blue and pink on the inside. Can hardly see the blue at all. Whee, variations! You have the nicest one I've seen, I like the prominent blue and pink!

I checked the Wal-Mart in Brunswick and I couldn't find a single Zelf. I first scoured the aisle with MLP and other fantasy animals and creatures thinking that was the best place to place Zelfs. I asked an employee standing next to the toy section doing something with boxes and neon colored spiky rubber balls on top of them on a trolley and he'd never heard of Zelfs (he was able to help me locate a Magic Jinn who I also had a hard time finding). I checked the girl toys in the other aisles and nothing.

thank you i was surprised when i bought her home and noticed all the pictures on the net were different, then i saw a pink at the front(hair) in a shop.

they are still brand new guys, i reckon give it time and they will be everywhere if still nothings in months to come, someone will help you out, hopefully someone from a country with cheap post like Germany etc..

I've been so busy the past month I couldn't get away from my town to hit the closest big name store to me (an hour away) to check for Zelfs so I figured everyone else in the USA had long since seen Zelfs in person.

LOL so relieved. I immediately likened them to the Dark Crystal and the Gelflings when I first saw the threads about them >.> I'm not nuts!

That's so awesome!  Congrats!  I hope I'll have the same sort of luck some day.  I refuse to pay eBay prices, so my only hope is finding her in a store.

aawww i just love your photos how cute is that.

they are really expensive here like about $15usd and one shop had 30% of as an introductory offer so i went nuts and lay-by'ed (lay-away) the rest that i wanted. yay yay yay so will pickup in a couple of weeks but man they are clearing out fast, they only had a dozen left of the medium ones and a few left of the large ones and there was no playsets or the blind packs left
