Scribbles and Dabble?
« on: July 12, 2013, 12:19:47 PM »
Just out of curiosity...

What are these two going for of late?  I've never yet seen a sale nor auction for them, and I know they're quite rare (considering they were offered via mail-order fairly late in the G1 line).  Should I mortgage my spare kidney?  Or just save my pony budget for a few months? ;)

Thanks!

**Oh, and if anypony has photos to share... while I'm putting pennies away towards these lovelies, please post them?  Thanks!**

They go for about $100 dollars each in fairly good condition. They can go for less, and I think $100 is probably the max I'd pay for one, maybe a little more if Scribbles blue streak isn't faded. But Dabble is slightly less popular than her sister, so I wouldn't pay anymore for her. All in all, you're looking at $60 to $100 each.

$60-100 sounds right to me, but there's some misinformation above. Dabble is the one with purple/aqua hair that fades easily, especially the aqua part. You'll mostly come across her faded, and yes, she can easily hit $100 plus with unfaded hair. Scribbles is the white pony with dark pink/yellow hair and seems less prone to fading.

My bad! I always get the two confused.  :argh: But yes, mul-ta's got it right.

Thanks for the info!  I like 'em both, so thankfully they're within the realms of affordability. :sigh:  Eventually... I'll just have to put myself on a pony-fast for the next couple weeks. :P

$80-100 each. I've always wanted those two but I hardly ever see them come up. Then when they do, I haven't got the money :argh:

They *should* be a whole lot more expensive than they are. I never can figure out why the hover around that $90 when they are way harder to find than much more spendy ponys... and far more interesting to boot!

They are significantly down in price than they used to be. Although as Slug says they have always been a little light on price considering their rarity.

I agree with the $65-70 for Dabble [assuming her hair is not completely faded] and $90-100 for Scribble [although she was running lower than that a couple of months a go]
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

I got Scribbles at the Fair for $85...my boyfriend got me Dabble for Christmas, I don't know how much he spent but it was under $50 as that was as much as he was willing to go on her.
