My *Secret* Collection (Pic Heavy!)

Hello!  So my collection is not *really* a deliberate secret, but it is small and hidden away.  I got my first pony in 1984, then gave away all but one in 1994, then began collecting again in 1998.  I've bought and sold many ponies since then, but I love G1 Year 2 the best, and I purposefully try to keep my collection limited to that b/c I love having a small collection.  It's a wonderful feeling to have just your favorites all tucked away and ready when you want to see them

Here's Lemon Drop w/ a box of brushes.  I LOVE accessories.  I use plastic boxes from Office Depot--they come in lots of sizes and colors.  Note I put a nice thick cutting board down on the bottom of the cabinet to protect the ponies' feet from contact w/ the stained wood:

Shoo-be-doo it's the Sea Ponies!  I *just* got Seawinkle w/ her shell.  I love them but I'll probably sell them toward the end of the year.  I like my collection tiny!

The Pretty Parlor is the only playset building I've kept, but I have most of the accessories for the others plus a few bits of Pony Wear.  All kept in a delightful box

While I did get rid of almost everything MLP-related I owned back in high school, I did keep my sticker book, and since then I've even added a few for the ponies I didn't have in childhood.  Voila!

I also kept my original coloring books.  I bought an unused copy of the Christmas Coloring Book as an adult, but other than that I had all of these growing up:

I liked to add details to pictures.  If you look closely you can see I've given Lemon Drop a saddle and added some other bits here and there (including Brandy and Twinkles).

What a beautiful collection! I love that you still have so many things from your childhood. I'm in awe of your coloring skills, I've always been too impatient 

It must be such a nice feeling to open the cupboard and see your ponies tucked away so carefully You can tell they mean so much to you. Congratulations on having a wonderful secret collection!

Those baskets are a creative way to organize your ponies. I hadn't thought about a modest or "secret" collection before this, but yours is so lovely!

This is so sweet! Looks a bit like my collection actually, I also mostly kept my childhood collection - except my only playset are Dream Castle, and that is a little bit more space-consuming than Pretty Parlour

I adore the coloring books though! So sweet and you were such a talented kid! My coloring books looks nothing like this! So nice to still have all of this for you - must be fun to look at from time to time
