Animal Crossing Thread

So I paid off my house last night and today I started the HHA Theme Challenge! My theme is Fairy Tale because of my obsession with the Mermaid series that decorates one room of my house plus the exterior, not to mention my slow attempt to get the full set of Fairy Tale PWPs suggested and built. The whole "mushroom forest" thing is so cute *_*

I've made a wish list of things I need to get my home ready for this challenge. If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it. As always, I am more than happy to be allowed just to catalog anything on the list.

Oh ho! Someone has the Mushroom Set on their list! I'm pretty excited about that one. I have a room with some placeholder  items in it, just waiting for it to begin this year. I called my town "Kinoko" (mushroom) so I figure it would be downright weird not to have them. Apparently we'll be able to find them come November :3

And...the Sweets set I was hoping I'd be able to get my T&T Emporium by now because I'm pretty sure Gracie is selling them RIGHT NOW. Maybe you can find someone who doesn't want it that would let you come and buy it? (And if there is a second person here with it, maybe *I* could come and buy  ;; )

I have an T&T Emporium... and I'm slightly a week and a half ahead (aka August 23rd), and there is still Gracie stuff there. I think someone got the dates wrong. I think it'll be there next month.

Winnie is still walking around, so she should be packing her boxes up tomorrow (assuming I dont TT before then - i've half tempted to. xD).

I changed my 3DS clock, though I once used Isabelle when the clock had gone back an hour for some reason.

I was thinking of doing the Isabelle way, but I was/am worried if you can get it a re-sync with the 3DS clock again.

So if you were to TT ahead a day or so, and you TT back to the IRL date and time, nothing extremely bad will happen right (save for weeds if you dont have the BT ordinance, and possible villager wanting to move)?

Not as far as I know. I TT'ed back and forth a whole month by mistake (as I mentioned) and the only thing that happened was a bunch of weeds appeared. Not many, as I had the BT ordinance, but enough to make me go looking for them.

iv watned the mush set since I got the game :p It was my favorite in wild world too. When the event starts, all my mod wood set will be moved to a new room and mush will take over as my main room :p

It doesn't synch back to the 3DS clock.

And as far as I know, for the few times I TTed a day forward to get mail, and back a day-- it never seemed to hurt my town... I had a bell boom ordinance on for those times, and I really didn't seem to get many weeds. I did do a quick check for any dying flowers, and did water them before I went back again.

I may just change the 3DS clock when I time travel.

And I apologize for all of my typos - typing on my iPad, and I dont notice typos after after the fact since I type fast. xD

Sometimes I will jump ahead a few hours. I don't think the game is actually running anything in the background so if you change the time through the system clock, play, change it back, then don't play untill AFTER when you were there last, I don't think the game knows. I think the back and forth and and playing times you've already played is what clues it in.

I wonder if the Starbucks at my Targets store has a Nintendo Zone, since I am going to be there in a little bit. I hope the pumpkinpie is catalogable, but I have a feeling it isn't.


I think the only thing that really has a big TT effect on it are Turnips - I know they autospoil if you TT backwards, even by a minute.
