Okay.

WHAT WAS HASBRO THINKING?!

Children love.. ponies..so let's do a new set of ponies. Purple and pink, really girly colors...plus ponies with eyelashes.

Ponies that look like Groucho Marx. I love these dang ponies, but they are weird. And before I got them, I thought their eyes were going to open and close, like BBE ponies. But, no, they're Peter Gallagher/Groucho Marx ponies that stare at you when you sleep.

What have you named yours?

I have named my purple one Esmerelda, and my duplicate Vivian - the evil twin.

Also, I want you to know that these girls bring tha magic.

A Royal Picnic For Ponyland
One warm summer's day, Princess pony decided to use her special powers to make a picnic all the ponies could enjoy! With a whisk of her glittery tail, she turned the clouds into cotton candy, dripping tasty drops of lemon-flavored rain. Swishing her dazzling cape, she changed the leaves on the trees into raisin-covered cookies. Then, for a crowning touch, Princess pony blinked her beautiful eyelashes and Ponyland pond became a giant bowl of strawberry punch." Let the royal picnic begin", said the pretty Princess with a delighted smile as her thrilled pony friends began to devour the magical, mouth watering feast.


She uses nearly every part of her body to bring a picnic together.

And it's the same story for each princess.  Imagination was really used here. Does the pond or lake turn into punch when she blinks always? Those poor sea ponies.

I hate those lashes- they look like caterpillars.

There was someone on here who did a really great job of replacing them with fake eyelashes- they looked pretty great!

No saving that "story" though... although I'm curious what happened when the pony shook its a... rear.

I dunno I like their eye lashes, and for some reason I don't remember them being so bushy and weird when I was a kid. I have no idea! I do remember mine being one of my favorites because she was a pretty girl with cute eyelashes! Granted I pulled on them a lot.

I think they look really cool, although I don't have them.  I think their symbols are really pretty and the lashes look luxurious and glam.

Just got the pair of them (though I only took shots of PRP for the now)!  I think they look Old Hollywood - make me think of some forties movie divas.

I love them! I don't have any but I'd happily adopt any unloved princesses even with caterpillary eyelashes. I would even replace eyelashes if they were beyond saving! They're so cute!

Does anyone have any tips for straightening those wacky lashes out? I actually like both these girls-- wanted them from the start of my G1 collecting, and I'd like to make them look even better.

I looked but can't find the customs where someone replaced/re-rooted the eyelashes- they looked fabulous!

Seriously gave me the chills!  A patch of wiry black fur does not look like eyelashes- it looks like something...else...

I really like them both. I think those mondo lashes are glamourous. Pretty sure the lashes are just glued on and easily removed?

I have never seen one in person but based on pictures I've seen, I am not too fond of the crazy long lashes.  StoryDreamer, your post cracked me up!  I love your comparison to Peter Gallagher and that you think of Maybelline every time you see those eyes.

Actually, believe it or not, the lashes are plugged :s so yes, there are holes :S I just cut them off so there is still hair in the plugs, but it looks fine. If I tried to pluck them out, I'm afraid it would leave holes in her lash area
