Sweet Ebay Story <3

You know Humanity is not lost when you sell something on Ebay and the person who bought it wants to send that item as a gift to someone who is undergoing an operation <3 Isn't that just awesome ?

I usually sell my own personal items, such as clothes, shoes, bags, jewellery, etc. About 3 weeks ago, I went to my first carboot sale and put some collectible toys that I found up for sale, one of them being a Patamon (Digimon character) beanie plush. Yesterday, I got a message from a guy asking if I could end the auction early, as he wanted to give that as a gift for someone who is going into surgery soon. As I had relisted that item not long ago and there was only one bid - his own - I decided to sell the item to him. He seemed really grateful and paid right away. Later, he asked me if I could include a get well soon message on behalf of him in the parcel. And after this, well, I decided to go all out and gift wrap the beanie and include one of my own handmade cards with the message, all at not extra cost and because I thought it would be a nice touch. Once I told the guy about all this, he was so happy he even said to keep in touch if I ever had trouble selling anything, because he could see if he needed it.

This just made my day. I just came back from the Post Office, it's a beautiful day outside and my mood is just over the Moon ! I have a few other stories that made me really glad as well, some of them happened here in the Arena, but I just had to share this one <3

My hubby had a specific Popple as a kid, but has lost it over the years, so a few years ago I tried to get him another one. There was one on ebay but I didn't have money at the time. It ended with no bids. So a few weeks later when I had money, I messaged the person asking if they still had it and were willing to sell it.

It all worked out well, and she even included a little note saying "surprise from your girlfriend" for me. Popple now lives on our dresser.

I sold a handbag and the buyer got in touch to tell me that it had a necklace (that I treasured and had lost) inside one of the tiny pockets!

She sent it back to me and I was so grateful
