Like many people, if the lack of holes becomes a problem I have a Dremel and know how to use it.
But man did they mess up her image on the back. Half of her neck is missing. 

I wanted to get Shining Armor, but not the castle so this is just the ticket for me (it will give me a Cadence double though).

I wonder why they decided to make Lyra a little huskier? And why didn't they use an actual pic' of her?

Diamond Tiara is my absolute least favorite pony, so I'm not sure what I'll do with her (you should see how I've got my BB size toy of her displayed  ).

The idea of Drama Pony copying Prince has been getting around, so I'm fully expecting to see some art of it soon (and if not I might have too) . That and her holding a muffin at the end of EqG pretty much makes her love of muffins canon. But her bubbles are decals? Hasbro isn't getting that cheap now are they?

I wish they had just given her the name Ditzy Doo ages ago because I still feel it suits her. It's so weird that they just put a picture of a muffin.

They might get yelled at for that name too (especially since they made a human version of her). At least with a muffin they've avoided many of the complaints on both sides. 

Overall I guess I'll still get the set. The big NMM, Shadowbolt Dash, and new BB sets come first though.

...They just mean her cutie mark paint, it's not any different than it always has been.

Better than accidentally calling paint 'stickers'. I don't understaaaaaaaaaaand.

and to add paper accessories are really cheap, great one hasbro, i will now buy them individually because of that and omg

33 compared the Lyras earlier in this thread. If I remember correctly the new Lyra has the new head mould and there is a touch of colour difference.

I don't mind the harp symbol being re-used because they did add some nice other details to Lryica/Lilac, necklace.

It's no use complaining (because I'm getting the set) but the new head mold... Looks too big, my 2c.

WEEEW I'm so excited to get this set! I really like how Chrysalis looks, the wings painted on the wings is really interesting.
Too bad my ToysRUS is still stocking stuff from last year, might have to wait till the holidays before they have these ones on the shelves.
