Sent follow-up check-in message containing the photo.  I'm not dead.

So yeah, hit a snag with the first one and had to start over; decided to use a base that was more comfortable anyway.  Paint is done, just waiting on the hair to arrive now.  I might look into doing a second, smaller one if I can find the time between school and work. @_@

I have some fun extras, time to stop with extras and focus on pony! I just cant find the motivation to get the airbrush out.

UK Ponycon is over (cryface) so now time to seriously get a wiggle on with this pony!

I think I'm finally done sculpting. Half of what I did, I ended up not liking so I had to do something different. More clay has gone into the garbage than onto this pony

Now I need to figure out colors. Or at least figure out a way to make them more interesting. Maybe gradients.

thinking of doin more gradients on the head and down the back... not sure yet. movin along to the next area paintwise while I debate. tho thatll make doin the gradient around the paintwork a bit more difficult, but itll let me see the colors all together... blegh. time to distract myself! i was originally planning on doing ~something~ with the hair... but now im thinking i may do ~something else~...

partner, if the paintjob ends up on the dark side would you prefer paler hair for contrast, or dark hair for... darkness? tho the final gradient (if i do it) may make it a moot point. =P confusing question, i know but blegh =P *goes for more coffee*
