I prefer "blends" if they're similar colors or it's designed to create the illusion of a solid but variegated color. I prefer larger chunks or streaks if they're very different or opposite colors and they're supposed to be seen individually. *shrug* Hope that makes sense.

I like all of the above! Actually, I looooove pumpkin, spice, caramel, cinnamon smells. I can always use soap and candles. Heh.

I have pretty bad teeth so I don't eat very much candy.  If you send candy either I or my kiddos will eat it, but I don't do much in the way of candy. As far as goodies they can add a lot of weight to a package so don't feel like you need to send anything.  I like lavender, pomegranate, pumpkin spice.  My favorite scent is roses. I used to have rose scented lotion that I loved so much, but I got it while vacationing in Montana so I haven't been able to find it here.

I love candles! typically I go for anything cinnamon scented first. applecinnamon or plain cinnamon. after that I usually go for floral scents as long as theyre not too overpowering. also LOVE coffee but have yet to find a candle I like of it. tho to be honest, haven't been looking too hard. =P

for soaps I love floral scents. especially lavender, lilac, orchid, and cherryblossom. not really into the food or fruit scents. =P

hand sanitizer prolly wont get used much so save your money on that one. =]

but yeah noncandy extras can get a bit heavy so candy is fine as well. oh, and kitty likes crunchy seafood flavored treats. =3 it baffles me since hes missing a lot of teeth... silly old man!

I will start by saying that I in no way expect extras and don't believe that extras should be an expected part of a custom swap. If I get nothing but a custom in a box with a scrap of paper saying who made it, that's all I need

That said, I use a lot of hand sanitizer at work and candles at home. Fall scents are always nice - pumpkin spice, apple pie, etc.

All I ask is that my partner not send anything that can melt. I'm as serious as can be. So no chocolate, no candles, nothing with liquid. I don't know about soap... but I have sensitive skin so probably not the best idea anyway ^^

Hard candies are the best thing if you want to send something. I like coffee/toffee and cinnamon flavor. But I'm going to agree with NoD that I don't expect extras and you shouldn't feel obligated, partner

My favorite smells are the same as yours. Fall scents are my fave and foodie scents. I don't prefer flowery, spring scents.

im officially excited. my muse finally made his presence known! now to teach myself some new wetbrushing techniques... been watching some youtube vids on how to get certain effects that I may modify for this... =D

What do you feel about getting things like candles, hand sanitizer, soaps, etc? What are some of your favorite scents?

I like candles and soaps, but I worry that things will melt in transit and I'm actually really picky about scents, they have to be natural, like essential oils and stuff, and not smell artificial at all. My favorite scents are Roses, Lavender, Lemon, and spicy, like Cinnamon and Cloves. I also prefer hard candies, jolly ranchers, life savers, peppermints, stuff like that. Stationary, cool notebooks and pens, that sort of thing is always welcome.

Overall, though, I'm all about the pony!! Extras are just a nice surprise.
