What if I make a pony that's neither a scene nor a character?

Sounds good to me! Whatever you do, if you do your best and stick to your partner's likes, I'm sure she'll love it!

Let's say, you have a choice between a G1 and a G3. Which would you choose? And what is your fav pose of that generation?

I.......I don't know!!!!! I love both generations and all poses! *is the worst most useless partner in the world*

Hmm. That's hard. I think I'd like a mix of both, or depending on my partner's stronger abilities, to go with what they're best at!

sculpt, paint, or both: that is a toughie. id have to agree with SoT, go with what your strong suit is. I love painted and sculpted, so yeah... do what you think will look coolest! =P

I like "special" ponies to have tactile elements, even if it's a simple thing. I dunno why. I'm like that with everything.

When I go shopping I'm all  *touch* *touch* *grab* ... drives my boyfriend mad

Whichever works best for you, honestly
I think I neglected favorite poses in my form so I will answer that part.
G1 - All Big Brothers, of course. Tootsie, Gingerbread, & Lofty are my favs. Least fav is Quackers.
G3 - Kimono and Clone are my favs but I'm really not picky about G3 poses at all. Don't care too much for the Diva and Donkey poses but even they can be awesome with the right custom.

Going to echo SoT and say go with your strengths. I do like a mix of both though, that's a cool look.

I'd have to say G3, unless by chance it was a big brother bait. The majority of my customs collection are G3, I love them

Boys are cool, any generation. (Hm, reading that without context might get me in trouble )

For customs either G1 or G3 are nice. I don't really have a favorite pose, whatever best suits the pony.

I love to see ponies that have been made with lots of creativity and love, so painting, sculpting, any combination, whatever makes your heart sing.

Would you prefer a sculpted outfit or a removable cloth outfit that shows off an intricate design underneath as well?

Personally, I know it's a lot of work to make clothes removable, but they can be pretty cool to see the designs on the pony too. But sculpted is fine if it's too much work with cloth.

So tough.  I mean honestly either would be wonderful.  I have less cloth outfits than sculpted ones so I suppose I would lean that way for this question.
