Are You Guilty of Leaving Ponies Out - another light thread by me

Ok my dear pony loving community take a look at your collections and the ponies you have on your wishlist. Are you guilty of preferring one type over another?

I confess...........

I seem to have an awful lot of earth ponies hehe (though my CP army is contributing to that). But yep lots of earthy ponies on display in my home.

In second place come the unicorns who are building up quite steadily and lastly pegasai, hmmm I don't have many of them yet.

Do any of you guys tend to go for one type more than the others?

I love sweet-smelling ponies so I kind of have prioritized collecting them. I also collected all of the Flutter ponies fairly early on because Wind Drifter was my sole childhood pony, and for that reason I have a thing for butterfly-winged ponies in general.

I don't have any flutters or wingers yet but I'm hoping to get some. I watched the MLP Movie and The End of Flutter Valley recently reminding me how much I likes the flutters I might get one in the next week or so just so I have a lovely flutter pony in my collection 

With regards to 'sets' I'm very So Soft obsessed right now. I'm getting some off a fellow boardie soon. I never liked them till I'd got Bouncy and I only got her because I've always wanted her after seeing a deflocked one once. Mine is still furry though

Flutters and sea ponies... I have one each.

I tend to stick with G1's, but I find I love the earlier ones rather than the ones they released toward the end of their run.

I don't have any male ponies yet. Just little Baby Paws, but no adults. (G4s not included - I do have Shining Armor and a couple of the blind bags)

yeah I agree i'm more inclined to buy earlier releases than the later ones, the ideas seemed to be running out.


I have no boys either Kiwi, I hope to get some they just aren't top of the list, I did have a few in my childhood collection though.

I have a lot of babies! I love the early G1 baby ponies. I tend to have more of the early released ponies too - except some of the later ones from my childhood. But even back then I always cared most for the early released ones.

The ones I don't have any of are the so softs, and I don't have that many sea ponies either...

EDIT: Oh, I forgot to really answer your question - but no, I don't get guilt trips over leaving out ponies! I only have ponies that either are childhoods or that I really, really like

I don't have any sea ponies i think the only one I've seen that I like is Whitecap (i thinks thats the name)

Babies! All the customs I own are baby ponies...so I ll admit to being a little bias towards baby ponies

I'm biased towards Soda Sippin' pose. And Shy pose (Sundance) I don't tend to like others....

I loves my Sundance never thought i would but she's adorable, i loves my Confetti I got in my swapbox too

I have many Earth & Peg ponies from most generations, but only 2 unicorns. G4 wise, I tend to avoid ponies with the Twilight Sparkle-styled eyes.

I really only get to display my G4s, but I find myself leaving my like... "rarer" (for lack of a better term) ponies out for a long time before I put them away... and they seem to be mostly Earth Ponies, so I don't know if that's on purpose or what I prefer... haha. Shy pose always gets me though, I love shy pose ponies...
