Baby's first pony? G3 pics needed!

I have a tradition of buying my daughters' a pony before they are born to start their collection. My oldest daughter grew out of it pretty quick but my soon to be middle daughter really loves it. She got her first pony when she was born (Princess Royal Blue) and then would get an additional pony for Christmas and her birthday every year. When she turned 3 I let her take the ponies off the shelf and play with them. They always go back on the shelf when she is done. At 6 she has a small collection of about 25 ponies.

I'd like to do the same thing with my new daughter who is going to be born in about 6 weeks. I'm not sure what pony to get her or what generation to start her off with. I used G3's with my oldest but she grew to be a tom boy and lost all interest in them. My middle daughter collects G1's which is pretty expensive and she never finds them when we go to the flea market or thrift shop hunting. I was thinking G3 might be a good choice again because I imagine they are pretty inexpensive and are easy to find at thrift shops and yard sales.

I really don't know much about G3's. It would be great if some g3 collectors could post some pics of pretty and more common G3 ponies that might be a good choice for a "first" pony. The nursery colors are pink, purple, and white not that it really matters

Well, I'm a huge G3 collector (thanks to my big sister!!) and I recommend Tropical Delight. She's pretty, and I think you can still order/buy her. I don't have any pics because I'm giving my entire collection and spa and hair day. It's gonna take forever. I think a beautiful starter G3 is DaffiDazey. She only came with a breezie and set, so is harder to find, but I have one I'd happily sell at a very good and low price!

She's just so elegant, and the flower is so feminine and unique,  and texturized which I know little ones love!

Another lovely one is Razzaroo, since your little one is a gift to you and all that will know her, and her cutie is a gift.

I also have one of her, who I can sell at a very cheap price (I have over 80 G3s under my bed, so seriously, if you ever need reasonably priced G3s, you know where to find me!)

Awww...what a lovely idea

I think Lavender Cloud is one of the very prettiest of the G3 ponies. Or maybe Moondancer as she has a G1 inspired name but is uniquely her own pony and has a bit of a lullabye feel to her [not sure why ]
