Have you ever...

had someone randomly strike up a pony conversation out of the blue? Like someone who is either a stranger or an acquaintance.

I almost wonder if I was talking to an arena member earlier today. 

No really. I'm not going crazier... actually maybe I am.  Ember (my daughter) witnessed it though. So if I was imagining stuff so was she.

A lady walked up to me and asked me if I figured out the codes on the MLP blind bags, in the restroom- at my place of employment. I told her I had not and I tend to just wait for WalMart to restock and buy the box.  We then discussed when they restock. Because I was in ultra-polite work mode, it didn't even occur to me until way later how odd this was!

She knew I knew something about ponies because ??? And especially blind bags ??? (the only thing my kids both actively collect) 

I'm racking my brain to think if there was a previous conversation but I don't talk ponies IRL... like, I DON'T. I mean I've seen her around, and she's taken my class before but I'm pretty sure the only pony reference I've ever made was I once royally messed up my choreography and said, "I just don't know what went wrong!" laughed and moved on.

Ever had anything like that happen? This was a first for me!

Not exactly the same but the other day in work I gave my commission pony over to my work friend and another worker says 'oh a my little pony where can you get ponies now I love ponies' so I told her to check out ebay as a starter or argos for newer ones. And i said there are forums too.

I have never had someone strike up a pony conversation unexpectedly - conversations with people who know about my ponies or who my mum has told about my ponies yes but nothing completely out of the blue. Although the girl in my office made my day once by coming in to work with a G1 pony shirt on which she had found in Primark She thought it would make me smile...and it did!

My dentists assistant noticed my shirt (its a rainbow dash brony shirt by bf bought me) and went off about how a boy should be wearing that etc. Then she started in about how one of their friends was a brony and how she should set us up.... 


Also at the theater I had my rainbow dash shirt on and people kept going 20% cooler!!

oh dear i thought boys and girls were bronies...i thought it was a collective term for major fans of FiM.

Usually the mention of ponies by me gets eye rolling off people near bye so i tries not to talk about em unless it's to my boyfriend or you guys

I haven't really had an entire conversation with another pony fan who was a stranger, but one time I went into Home Goods wearing my Rainbow Dash shirt, and one of the employees kept passing me throughout the store and staring at me. When I went through the checkout line, he said, "Rainbow Dash is the best!".

A friend of a friend declared she was a brony while we were out celebrating our mutual friend's birthday. She didn't even know who Applejack was though so I suspect maybe she wasn't all that into it

The other day!  Some single friends and I are having a movie night and we were discussing which movie to watch. We were throwing out random and hilarious suggestions.

 One person shouted, "My Little Pony!"
 Another person said, "Which one?"
 Another person said, "Wait. There is more than one My Little Pony movie? I didn't know that!"

 I laughed to myself at the whole discourse.

 We decided on The Hunger Games, by the way.

I have a mlp fim backpack that I use to school, so once a brony was staring at it for a time, so I turned around to say hi and he inmediately turned his face over, as if he didn't want me to know that he was staring xD

then another time I were leaving school and a younger girl came to me and said "oooh ponies! your backpack is so awesome! I love my little pony" then she asked me the names of the ponies on my backpack (which are pinkie pie, rainbow dash and applejack)
