Vacuum ponies?
« on: July 03, 2013, 07:36:15 AM »
Just a quick question, and apologies if it's been posted before.

I saw (on evilBay) a pony (Fizzy) in sort of heat/vacuum sealed plastic (or possibly shrink wrap).  Not a baggie - I've seen M/O ponies in baggies, and this is way more form-fitting.  I was just wondering if ponies ever came like this. :wonder:  To the best of my recollection, the ponies I bought from shops back in the day came on backcards and under plastic bubbles, or in boxes (like the flutters and sea ponies), but never like this.

Is it legit?  Or did somepony seal up their old collectibles like this?  I'm confuzzled (but then, I haven't had my morning cuppa yet... :sleepy:).  Thanks for helping my curiosity! ^.^

Thanks to Sourdough stomper for my Advent signature, and to Nence for my avatar! :lovey:
Wishlist - I'm back on (semi-) active buying again... can't buy everything on my wish list all at once (yay, back-to-school and tuition fees), but I am still looking to plump up my collection a bit more: http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,380638.0.html

Not that I'm aware of... but stranger things have been proven to be true! Still, I'm thinking, no. :P

You can tell if you look closely that her hair is dry and rough on the ends, someone just re-packaged her :)

She's also got some marks (unless those are on the baggie), so I say repackage :)

Fizzy never was in a baggy as far as I know, so she's probably been repackaged.

Nope - never released that way. So she would be a re-pack. I hope the seller isnt claiming its some kind of special release? At least we have a community like the Arena to check things with one another :)
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi
Loa is my love god!
I love Loa more than PonyLady!
