...just realized the top of the forum changes throughout the day.  I've been here HOW LONG and I JUST noticed that? I'm attentive.

It's right though, I probably should go to bed... but I've been unable to sleep for nearly two weeks now. These 1-3 hour nights is starting to really wear on me. X.x Last night mom gave me half a sleeping pill and I went to bed early. Got 5 hours of sleep.  Oi. My NORMAL sleep cycle is 8 solid hours. That hasn't happened in weeks. It's getting so bad my left eyelid has been twitching out for over a week now at random, and it's so severe at times it closes my eye entirely. That's annoying.

I need sleep so badly... but the heat, bugs, heat... stress... all of it is getting to me. I have a huge fan in my room to cool me down but it's loud that once it wakes me up it usually keeps me up. But turn it off and I overheat and the mosquitoes get me. Ugh. I have the other half of the sleeping pill which I just took, so I hope it'll help tonight... might need to go see the doc about this, it's getting ridiculous...

I am not a movie watcher by ANY stretch of the imagination, but your subject title made me think of that Adam Sandler movie (Billy Madison)... "Stop looking at me, swan!!" LoL

Anyway...I hope you are able to get some sleep tonight!  Sometimes I think we all get into these patterns of being unable to sleep well for weeks on end.  Here's to hoping tonight is a great start to a good night's sleep!    Speaking of...I better get to bed, too!

Go see the doctor, I've had sleeping troubles for a long time but its mostly to do with the early morning shifts i do. The doc might give you a sleeping pill to use for a little while, I wasn't allowed any because of my past mental health issues. Or you could go to the chemist/pharmacy and see if they have an over the counter med that helps aid sleep and then if that doesn't work go to the docs.

Lack of sleep can be dangerous for your body and mind I hope you manage to get it sorted soon

I always think it's trying to be sarcastic when it tells me I'm up early.

The arena likes to mock my insomnia but then it shows me pretty ponies so its sort of ok.

My husband is the pharmacy tech so I've been asking him. He already tried me on melatonin to try and get my body to regulate my sleep but that didn't help at all. The pills worked for HIM, but him right out but me? Nope. He's going to look at their stock and see what they have. Mom has some sleeping pills left and she said I can still keep taking them if I need but, but like everyone else agrees, I should go to the doc first. Just it's a new guy and I dunno how comfortable I am with him. I'd wait for my regular docs but they are always swamped when they get back and I always feel guilty about taking up their time. ^_^;
