I personally think that, so long as you make the final deadline, you should take as much time as you have/need to in order to make your pony the best you can for your partner.

Im actually at a standstill until i get another day off.  Sooo in about a week i will do more work.  Still need to sort out hair too.

I don't brush manes and I like the look of an updo, but I also like longer hair with the updo, if that makes sense

It's true. I am a stay-at-home mom with my own office and an airbrush. And the other thing is that this is the first time in a long time that I've felt like my pony is coming together well. My past 3 swaps have been an uphill battle. Even the design process just didn't flow for me. I'm really excited that my pony is going to fast and well, but it is definitely not my norm. I also happened to have a bait my partner requested and hair on hand that was the perfect color. That's a pretty rare scenario for me. We've got plenty of time, no worries. 


Oh! Almost forgot. I really don't have a strong preference about the hair, I like both updo's and long, whatever you think would look best

I like whatever hair goes with the design. I don't brush or play with customs' hair, so updo is fine with me.

I put all of my swap ponies up on a shelf, and they tend to sit up there unless I think they need dusting or am moving the shelf's location. Whomever's making for me, feel free to style the hair or not, as is your preference for design.
