I love seeing what people can create.  The tuber/anteater baby (I know, I know, that's not its name) reminds me of something from The Dark Crystal.

They are not personal to my taste. That being said they scream Tuney to me!!

The ideal behind them is very unique.

I messaged the creator on flickr, but no response yet. Their website is in a foreign language. I may try to translate it and see if I can figure out how to get one.

It's French (use Chrome - it auto-translates everything for you!).  It doesn't appear as though she has any of the Bactros up for sale at the moment, but she does have an Etsy shop (currently empty right now).

Ah, I love them! So unique!! Reminds me of something my favourite artist, Brian Froud, might make. (I saw someone make a ref to the Dark Crystal a few posts up, actually. He was the creative designer behind that movie!)
And if you need any help translating anything, I speak French and may be able to help, though I'm a liiiiittle rusty since moving to Ontario.

Thanks, guys! A shame none are for sale now. I'm hopeful the creator will message me back. I'm in love, and I won't be satisfied until I have a pair or these in my hands!
