ponies with shiny paint?

so I have been thinking ever since I got cupcake (actually I have 3 because they are the only pony I keep finding in the flea market)
that the brownish-orange part of the cupcake is shiny or glittery or something, does any other G4 pony have that kind of paint?

Hey, that is a good question. I don't think I have seen that glittery brown paint on anyone other than Cupcake. It made her look pretty special.

I think Cupcake is the only one so far. I love it on her. She's one of my favorite earlier releases.

Huh.. that is the darnest thing! I never really looked at her cupcake in the light before, neat! Thanks for sharing! So far only Cupcake seems to have the metallic paint, none of my other ponies seem to have that same appearance on the paint.

mmm I had a celestia but I don't remember...I think she had golden paint
so aparently only cupcake (and celestia's sun) have that type of paint?

Both my molded-hair giftset Celestia and the Royal Friends set Celestia have glittery paint (although the one with brushable hair has slightly oranger glitter).

I think you might be right that she is the only one with that slight metallic sheen to that part of her symbol! How odd...and well spotted

cupcake's orange part of her CM has a brown outline right? I mean, I think...
because aparently that brown "outline" is metallic too
but why would they make that cutiemark like that? because is the only one with that kind of paint, and I like the touch it gives

With Hasbro manufacturers...goodness only knows on the "why". Perhaps it was the cheapest option, perhaps it was the only way to get that particular shade or perhaps they simply decided she need to be a little special

Maybe it's another case of "x is a boring colour, let's make it more interesting", though I don't see why they'd bother with such a tiny detail on one character in a line of several. I admit, I'm very intrigued too.
