This is how my Squeaky Butt Vennie arrived through FedEx.... It looks like she was cut

, but the package was not damaged?

What do you think?

I'm going to have to ask my friend who works in customs what that's all about....

Er... wow that looks like cuts to me. They're so clean they're definitely not RIPPED off.... no damage to the package though? It wasn't re-taped up or anything? I would say that would be something to ask the seller about... that's awful! I'm so sorry she came to you like that!

do these ponies have hard plastic (i dont assume that because you couldnt squish them to make em squeak)? it looks like it was squished and broke (or as you said like a cut but you say the package isnt damaged so how could a cut happen inside of the package?)

The seller said she would send me a replacement, luckily.

O wow pore pony! I think they did open the package and searched for drugs or anything, apparently that happens more often to ponies from Venezuela. (heard stories about tearing boxes apart, ripping heads of etc which actually happened to my Venny Tootsie too...)

I was about to say it looks like customs. Like maybe they cut trough the box or something. That is annoying they didn't take the head off. Next time maybe ask the seller to ship the pony wih the was off?

Just to answer your question Zora they feel like a regular Venny pony.

That is good of the seller to send you a replacement. The incident is really frustrating though. I would be really upset if I knew that customs destroyed one of my ponies.

looks like they cut open the box and cut the pony inside at the same time, either that or they decided to cut the pony instead of popping the head off

Thanks everyone. I'm going to try to glue her back together. My husband has some great glue that is used for model airplanes, so I think it will be safe to use on the plastic. Can't hurt to try anyway, I can't damage her any more than she already is! At least all the pieces are there, including her leg. I would be even more devastated if they had also lost pieces of her too!
Pythia, I think I will look into doing a claim with Customs, since we all know that Vennie's aren't cheap! This was my first Vennie too! I was so sad when she arrived like that.

Anyone know if you can claim a damaged item with US Customs for payment? Thanks!

sadly I have heard of customs cutting ponies before and opening MOC ponies.

I would be tempted to complain to customs as they have destroyed your pony

I am sure there will be a way to make an official complaint.

Are you sure it was US customs? I know people had problems with Venezuelan customs opening boxes and pulling the heads off ponies.

Yes, it was US Customs. They put tape on the package saying they opened it. ARG!

I understand the need to check for drugs, but they really should be more careful! Definitely put in a complaint - it's lucky the seller is so good about it, as they wouldn't all be, and you could have been out money
