I didn't even realize that I knew anything about this line until I watched the opening on youtube--I think I must've seen it at a friend's house since I know I never owned any Peppermint Rose dolls.

I love the illustrations used in the party invites--just gorgeous. I also think it's great that they don't say "R.S.V.P." since it seems no one actually knows what that means!

Hah!   I was more referring to how no one ever calls if they're not coming... and sometimes not even if they are! These invites say specifically to call if one is coming, which takes a lot of the party-planning guesswork out of it.

I had never heard of her as a kid- but as an adult collector I got the dolls because they use the same face mold as Lady Lovelylocks and look like their older sisters or something

I LOVED Peppermint Rose. In my mind I felt the doll line was the Rose Petal Place grown larger. It was like Rose Petal and Lady Lovelylocks became one doll. Rose Petal Place and Lady Lovelylocks are goodies from the 80's. If you love Peppermint Rose you may enjoy those too.

Did she has some sort of pet? For some reason I vaguely remember stuffed animals with scents ect that I think we're supposed to be the pets.

Yeah- there are bunnies-  there are 3 big plush ones that you squeeze and they puff perfume/nice flower smell,  and three small ones that were essentially bottles of perfume.  Here are some pics! http://www.ghostofthedoll.co.uk/peppermintrose.htm
