So what seems to be your pony murphys law?

mine is the pony law of never finding any when I want to and finding them when I don't want to.

Lately ponies that I've wanted for a long time keep popping up on ebay, but the auctions always seem to end at a time when I am unable to watch them.

I see a pony I decide I want to buy, and it goes from being fairly available, to being darned hard to find!  Or bidding on one that I love on ebay, and being just barely outbid.  >.<

That when the thrift stores I shop in finally get a pony, they'll want waaaay too much for it no matter it's condition!  :silly:

When I go to a garage sale and manage to find a pony it's always a poor old damaged hairless G2 that I already have.

Mine would be all my MOC grails coming up for sale when I'm too broke to buy them and when I have some money, they're all way over priced:/

Or like tonight, MOC I really wanted came up for sale, but I was busy watching the hockey finals which Chicago won today woot! and messaging a seller from my phone about a pony I was interested in this evening(even told the person I was on a cell phone and watching the game, that was so pushy for me to pay that they wouldn't let me buy the pony after all because they saw the game ended at 10:37pm and I didn't get online at 10:38 to pay for it after 6 PM's from said seller:huh: I got online at 11...So if the price was too nice, it wasn't meant to be I guess  -_-

Mine is strictly on baby seapony Ripple's puffy sticker - I always seem to be one day too late to buy that puffy sticker. She comes up every now and then - but she is always sold JUST before I see that the puffy is up for sale. Oh my - I would be willing to spit out so much more than she is worth JUST because she escaped me for so long... (I'm talking YEARS of eluding me....!!)

Mine would be with G1 I'd find some I think are just adorable and when I try to find them they end up being way too much money or just really hard to find.. Like Mimic.. She's a unicorn and I thought aww she's cute and I love that her cutie mark is a parrot.. turns out she's HTF.. and Now I'm all about looking for Munchy because I thought she just looked so yummy. :D wellp.. turns out the only 2 I can find are way up there in price range.. Aye.. can't win for losing.

Searching ended auctions for info and pricing and noticing ended auctions for items I have been hunting years for :( All finished auctions, for cheaper than I would pay.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

When I first started buying G4s, the only one I saw in stock at toy stores was Blossomforth, and I wanted the mane 6.  I ended up mail-ordering TS and RD just because I couldn't find them anywhere.

Then once I got most of the mane 6, the other characters started getting hard to find!

Being offered ponies that I really want but the head and body is mismatched.

Or Looks good the the photo and buy it and get it in the mail open it and its not that grate of condition.

Finding the amazing sets on craigslist but its too far away I can drive to get them because then I can't pay for the pony. Plus no one wants to drive me there even if I had money.

People alwase telling me they have ponies from the 80's
I get there and look at them and they are G3s or fakies.

Screwing up a pony by washing it wrong!

(Don't do that anymore, I know how and how not to now)
