I was in a casino where they take your ID to allow you in. I then went to the bar to get a drink where they IDed me again. I thought this was sort of pointless. If I was under 21 I wouldn't even be there to begin with.

Years ago when my son was a baby (he's 18 now  ) I was up early in the morning with him doing normal morning stuff. A little while later I noticed guys in trench coats with guns drawn in my backyard. I then hear a loud knock on the door. As I open the door I see a gun in my face and a cop asking me loudly, "WHO ELSE IS IN THE HOUSE??!". "It's just me and my son", I say". Then I hear someone yell, "IT'S COLD!" from the back of my house. The cop at my door just left, no apologies. Everyone else took off as well.

I later find out that the local bank was robbed by a couple guys in a black Camaro... I had a GRAY Trans Am. *FAIL*  -_- I'm glad nothing too serious ever happens in my town! The police can't even get colors or car brands right!

I was buying an actual alcoholic drink once while my sister was with me, shes two years younger then me, and at the time she WAS under age. and the lady asked for my ID which I gave her, because laws are laws etc. but then she looks expectantly at my sister, "i need yours too." xD I was like what? shes not drinking? of course shes not old enough, do you want my 5 year old son to show you his ID as well. :p (I wasnt aggressive with her, if anything i was trying to be very nice about it, and joke with her.) her co worker, turned around and tapped her on the shoulder and just shook his head like "no, you cant ask for her ID"

I was a little paranoid that she might follow me out thinking I was buying drinks for my sister or something xD, ill also add that my sister was very obviously preggers, I know you dont usually want to just "assume" someone is pregnant, but still it was just a silly thing to have happen.

Was it Wal-Mart?  I used to work there and we did have to card every adult in the party no matter what, so she was technically following the rules.  Also, I see you live in T.C.  I live on the exact opposite side of the state from you.  I go to T.C. a lot for concerts at Streeter's and to go to the mall.

Cops came to our house once to say that our alarm system system went off. Now for someone whom "had the alarm system sound", my mom, whom answered the door was not looking fully awake and she doesn't drink alcohol. The thing is that our alarm system did NOT sound and hasn't for years (was disconnected due to it wanting a new battery and would peep endlessly when it was low). Would've thought they'd verify but I guess not.

I love getting carded, even for silly things. I've heard I look 23 which only makes me so happy as I am 29.
I work on the other end tho, and when I worked at a store we had to card everyone who looked under 30. I once carded a woman who turned out to be 41. She was so happy, totally made her day which was so much fun.

At the cinema I have to card any teenager who wants to see a rated movie. They have to be fifteen and we have to card them even if their parents are with them because sadly so many parents lie about their kids ages. I have had so many discussions with teens who ask if they don't look 15, because they turned "one week ago".. Knowing people can look both older and younger than they are, I'm very hard on making it right and I rather take the fight than risk loosing my job.

I'm 25. A couple of months ago I was buying some fish and chips in the afternoon on a weekday. I was having a friendly chat with the lady behind the counter when she comes out with this (in a nice way):

"Shouldn't you be in school?"

She seemed a bit embarrassed when I explained that, actually, school was a long time ago for me. ;) But it was one of the best compliments I've received in a while.
