All right, I give up...how do I get this dang head back on???

I beheaded a G4 Rainbow Dash, to see how difficult it was. It came off without too much trouble, but now I can't get the dang thing back on! What's the best way to do it? I've tried softening it with a hairdryer and I've tried good old brute force to try and push it back on, and I'm stuck. All the tutorials I've found just seem to skip this part.

I soften mine with hot water
they become all squishy UvU

If that doesn't work you could cut a X in the hole of the head, that way you may have more spae for the head plug, but you may end up cutting part of the neck too if not careful

This. Plus I sometimes use needle nose or hemostats to stretch the hole a bit.
