I loved My Little Pony when I was a kid.  Being on this website has really made me nostalgic so I  pulled out all my old pony related photos.  Sadly, all these precious toys are gone now.  Sorry for the quality, this was an 8 year old using a cheap film camera in the 80s.

I still have my birthflower pony for November, Chrysanthemum.  She was a gift from my brother.

I also kept my Baby Twice as Fancy ponies.  I was very close to my mammaw, so much of the person I am today is because of her.  She died of cancer when I was 8 years old.  Not long after she died I received a package in the mail.  She had ordered these ponies for me before she died.  They mean more to me than any other toy I own.

Those are some wonderful ponies and pictures!  I was in the same boat you were:  Had a childhood collection that slowly dwindled into nothing.  I am glad you have these great photos to remind you!

Oh and I just want to say, I am super jealous of that Paradise Estate!  ;)

Those are some great pictures!!! I grew up them also and feel right at home looking at them. Sad you no longer have them ponies, I hope that you do get some sometime soon :)

it would be hard and expensive to get it all back :( did you ask what happened to them?

Nice pics.  I don't think they're bad quality.  It's nice that your parents gave you ponies as a kid.  I hate the people who are all about gender specific stuff.  It isn't right.  Sorry all your ponies are gone. :(  The things we do as a kid and regret as an adult.  I had some ponies as a kid I gave away when I was 13 or 14 to a childhood friend of mine before I moved, thinking I was too old.

Omigosh, I love the photo where you're opening the Paradise Estate box!  Reminds me of my son when he's opened favourite toys at birthday or holiday time. ^.^

I really love the playsets and it looks like you took really good care of them too.
Its cool that you are a guy and like ponies. I think most people think that boys shouldn't have girl toys..I am a firm believer that and gender can have what ever they like. I use to get hot weel cars when I was little and plastic army men too.

Awesome pics  :cool:  you had a lot of luck to get that very cool stuff  :shocked: hopefully you can get them replaced and enjoy them again.  :)


When I was a little girl I only had fakies and one manky second hand Trickles later I got a few other G1s in the last year of G1 in america, they were few but I enjoyed them a lot I still have them.

 :biggrin:   Wow you had the such great toys!  I used to have the paradise estates too, but it was second-hand and missed tons of pieces. Still was a fabulous playset.  SO. BIG!
