Printable G1 Brush/Comb Checklist

Hi all...

So, I probably just don't know about it... but I personally don't know where to find an actual "printable" checklist for G1 US brushes and combs... I know plenty of lists and sites online with information... but I'm a sucker for having hard copies that I can fill in the circles as I collect them.

So what I wanted to know is - would anyone be interested in a checklist that was organized by BRUSH TYPE AND COLOR instead of by Group and Year?

I'm working on one right now and I can share it when I'm finished. I find this method easiest for me as I can say, "Okay I have a lavender bear brush, let me see all the ponies who have that brush and who of mine needs one", etc...

Well, if you have a copy my excel file you can delete all the columns you aren't interested in, then sort the info for brushes or combs by style. So it would have "teddy bear brush lavender" and when it's sorted all the lavender ones would be together   It could do with a bit of an edit to make it more printable, unless you don't mind pages with just a couple of columns

I have my own excel sheet that I have been working on for a while, it's complete for US and UK ponies... but I am making a printable checklist...

Like Dream Valley or LadyTwilight's Accessory checklists... something OFF the computer...

Was just gauging interest, but if there isn't any, I'll just keep it for myself...

Oh and Chrissy I appreciate the link - I definitely use your sticker and baby accessory spreadsheets , the brushes and combs have been my baby for a while so, once I get this done maybe I'll see if anyone wants to use it.

Ah, I see lol   I've got my own printout checklist for brushes I need organised by shape so I can definitely say it's useful to have I'm sure other people would be interested too.

Well I should finish it tonight... and can share it - Chrissy since you have so many wonderful shared files, do you recommend I use Google Docs to share it? It will be a word file, not excel in this case...

And yes I'm organizing by Shape first, then under shape color (I know, can be subjective, but I've tried my best to look at numerous lists of brushes to find the correct shades... I'm sure there is something I've got wrong though with all of those brushes/combs) - and then the ponies are listed under that, in order or year (no year listed, just names/groups, but in order from earliest to latest).

I hope others will find it helpful, or maybe a checklist like this will give them the "accessory bug" like we seem to have Chrissy, and they'll fall in love and want to collect brushes too... hehe

I'm not sure I would recommend Google docs atm... I'm having trouble getting in to edit my file, don't know why though. I was looking into it earlier when my internet connection failed.  You can certainly see if it works for you Ignore that, I forgot I had an old account, my new account was only set up to view the file, not to edit So yes, I would recommend it very much

I have my own online and hard copy list of combs by colour and type Its super helpful and worryingly long sometimes. I completely understand wanting to have such a guide for yourself!

I hope it helps you as well Jennifer! I tried to check multiple references for the colors and I know some of the shades I've listed are... sort of "relative" (blue vs. light blue or aqua vs blue) - but when you have a whole mess of them together you can start picking out the shades better that fit into the colors I listed out... at least that's how I do it...

I apologize for it being 16 pages... lol... I'm sure you can download it and reduce the font size if needed.

Very cool and a great idea! I just made something very similar for myself. All those accessories are so hard to keep track of, especially if you're super OCD about it like I am!

Thanks guys! I printed my own copy, now I'm transferring my electronic catalog to my new printed checklist, lol I have a 4" binder with checklists... a bit of a nut but I'm happy to have one now. Chrissy - without your lists I would certainly have holes in my own stuff, so I can't thank you enough for all your organization!
