I went into TRU looking for Sunset Shimmer.  Well, I saw her in person, and after a week (and a really bad day), I broke down.  I'm not big on the other ones, but the deluxe ones are pretty cute.  I thought I'd share some pics.

I've never been a doll person, but I've got to admit, they are fun!  The peg leg/footless thing caught me off guard, though.  I thought I broke her at first, lol.

Awwwww those pictures are soooo adorable! Fluttershy is my favorite out of the six, so those pictures make me want her even moooore! I just saw the movie today oh my gosh! I must have the dolls now! xD

I keep checking our toy freight in the backroom and on the salesfloor....we should start seeing EQG dolls any day now! As soon as I see them im buying them on break! We are setting back to school already, I hope I find some mlp notebooks tonite as well as the dolls! I wish I had a release date to give you guys for Walmart stores....I saw somewhere August 18th but not 100% sure. I can ask around work tonite if the dept manager comes in early.

The fact that they did make a doll with arm articulation but no knee joints gives me hope that the Twilight and Celestia that come with the pony will have it too. It was really hard to tell that the arms on Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were articulated (tho the knees were quite visible) so maybe it is the same with those.

Judging from the photo we have, I'd say Twilight is again not articulated, and that Celestia will be like Sunset Shimmer with just the elbows.

How odd- partial articulation? I guess it's better than none!

Does anyone know if Celestia has the same release date as the others? It's weird we haven't seen box art for her or anything yet considering how soon the dolls are coming out (assuming they're released August 6th like the DVD.)

LOL I like how in that pic it sort of looks like she's grabbing Twilight's arm forcing her to pose with her like "You HAVE to take this picture with me!!"

I don't know if I like that they gave Sunset Shimmer earrings or not.. At first I was wondering what that was. Looks a bit odd.. It looks like she is trying to make contact or something.

I must be the odd ball out on these dolls. I have never been a doll person, even when I was a little girl. I am going to have to pass on these. They are cute, but ponies will always rule

Sunset Shimmer still has two different coloured legs!? I kind of like it though... It's interesting how she has a partially jointed body, but as Galactica said, it's better than none at all.

I was wondering about that too, what's the idea behind that? Is she not yellow because Fluttersy is, or what? And what's with the 'articulated arms but not legs' thing??
Hasbro people, what ever you're using, I want some too!

I decided I am really serious about obtaining the equestria girls dolls! Dang it,  just bought the mane 6 aurora plushies.... saving up for these dollies!  I havnt found any in frieght yet.
