According to the picture's poster the dolls are 9.5 inches and there will apparently also be a EqG line which has both the characters' pony and humanoid forms.

I'm excited about the articulated ones. It seems they are taking a hint out of the MGA playbook and making the basic and hairplay dolls unarticulated but at least some will be articulated.

I want to like these, I really do, but there's just something....not quite right about them. I can't quite pick it out. Maybe it's the lame photo quality or something. They just seem odd.

Yes thats right. We had confirmation of packs which were termed "Doll + Pony" so that must mean a joint release.

I am loving the articulated dolls. The others are just meh. It's interesting to see multiples of the same character.... I wonder how long they plan on making these? If there are doll+pony packs, and now two different RD dolls??

The deluxe ones are kind of cute, but a bit too expensive, in my opinion.  Maybe if I can get one on sale I'd buy it, but I'd probably do a custom face up, because the super heavy eyeshadow just looks kind of tacky.  The actual face mold doesn't seem too bad though, and would probably look really nice with a custom paint job!

I like the outfit on Rainbow!  That is just awesome!  Personally, I don't get the obsession with articulation.  I don't recall a vast amount of kids' dolls that were articulated before Monster High showed up.  I'm also surprised at the size.  Knowing Hasbro's blasted obsession with things microscopic, I would have thought they'd be the size of a thumb tack.

I might just have to get one of the articulated ones.  Those look quite a bit better than the basic ones. 

I wonder if they will be able to wear Bratz or MH clothes.

I showed these pictures to my daughters, and they said they looked like "fakie Monster High" dolls. Well, maybe they'll feel differently when they see them in stores.

I like them!  Especially Fluttershy, Rarity and Rainbow Dash.

I'm stalking Amazon right now, waiting for these to pop back up. I really want that articulated Rainbow Dash.
