Posting lots is generally not that profitable, that's a route you want to go when your goal is to move things fast to make space. The cheaper the better with lots, because shipping is high on them. Do not expect them to make as much as they're worth. I tried to find an ended auction I saw once but couldn't find it again, so to relay an example from memory- someone started an auction lot for about 5-7 MIB G4 Rainbow Dash items (fashion style, glimmer wing, shine bright, singles, etc), and I think they started it low as an open auction because it only sold for $25!! Plus eBay gets $2.50, and Paypal takes a bit as well. Poor seller, I'd imagine they were expecting it to go higher D;
When doing auctions, I always post things individually. This way, shipping is lower to those interested in specific items, and if people are interested in your other items they can bid on those, too, and just combine on shipping. I also find that individually things will move faster (the more desirable stuff at least). Huge luck with your sales! I hope you raise the money you need. I'm currently auctioning stuff myself because of a financial tight spot ;P
