Are bangs on G4s rare or not?

Well I tried searching for similar threads here but nothing like this came up that i could find. Bangs were used on some of the earlier releases I know that much but are bangs on certain ponies more sought after?

I only know of these had had bangs:

Applejack
Rainbow Dash
Twilight Sparkle
Cheerilee
Baby Sweetie Belle

They are hard to find as they were only in certain releases of Wave 1 - I'm pretty sure they're sought after by a few collectors, not sure if some more than others

Don't forget the 1st release of Daisy Dreams! As she is pricey on Ebay to begin with, I figure the bangs version of her may be even more so

Also, I recall somebody stating that Sweetie Belle with bangs is harder to come by?

I've heard that the wave 1 ponies with bangs are much harder to find than others, but I have a MIB Twilight Sparkle with bangs I've been trying to sell on eBay with no luck so far.  I've got an extra loose Applejack and Cheerilee with bangs too, but for the moment I've just been holding on to them because I don't know what else to do.

It kind of seems like the market is over-saturated at the moment with bangs ponies, but that could just be me!

I don't think they are harder to find (I've come across tons) but rather they are preferred due to show accuracy.

I think they are kind of rare but it depends where you live. I've never been able to find a pony with bangs in my area,and I believed they stopped ponies with bangs in 2011,probably to save time and money. It's a shame as the ponies look more accurate with bangs

Bangs ponies are rarer than non-banged ponies simply for the fact that they were only around for about 2 waves. As soon as the wave with Blossomforth, Lulu Luck, etc came out, Hasbro no longer produced ponies with bangs (except for that Shadowbolt Rainbow Dash).

Most are fairly easy enough to find at the moment, second-hand, I would assume. I haven't seen them in stores for a while now. The only hard ones to find with bangs are Daisy Dreams (because she was exclusive to certain countries) and a few prototype ponies like glittery/translucent Applejack or Sweetie Blue because they were never released.

I don't think they are super-sought after by everyone, but I think there are a lot of people who get excited over them (I know I do, lol).

So far as I know, the Sweetie Belle with bangs was only released with her and pinkie in the Sweets Boutique, but I've also heard of a few people getting prototypes of Blossomforth with bangs like in her promo ads. I have AJ with bangs but she's hit or miss in the sweet Apple Barn Playset depending on whether it was an earlier or later release.

I have only four G4s and one of them, AJ, has bangs didn't know that she was more rare, just thought she looks better like this because its closer to the series

As Bright Idea says, they are certainly harder to find. Mainly because in comparison to the market flooding re releases of AJ, RD and TS, those listed only had an initial run with bangs in wave 1.

However, I dont think financially [other than Cheerilee] they seem to run too much higher. Mainly because although it was a shorter wave it was still a wide enough wave that most people managed to pick them up and there are still plenty pop up on ebay. And of course not everyone wants every single release of the same pony - so one TS or one RD is fine - they dont need another one just because she has a fringe.
