I am looking for a minty 4-Speed! (No brown marks or cancer/age marks of ANY KIND!)

Aw, I just got one, he would be mint but hes starting to get a little brown mark on his belly..I think hes near impossible to find spotless

That's why I want to find him so badly! haha.
It's a strange grail because he is pretty common, but pretty rare in good condition!
Like flutters with wings I guess.

I hope you can find one Jinxxy hun - he IS really weird always getting those brown marks... maybe it's his unique body color or something, plastic breaks down easier? I have no idea why some are so bad for certain problems like cancer or aging spots or regrind...

I had a perfect Party Time that I sold off not knowing how "rare" she was.

I am not sure what it is about 4-Speed. I seem to find that the other boys are a little easier to find mint.
Daddy Bright Bouquet is a similar(ish) colour to him and he is almost always in awesome condition for some reason.
Who knows though really!
It's so strange to see what ponies typically come down with what ailments. I wish it wasn't big brothers (my favorite set!) that always get hit with the cancer.
My gorgeous MINT Wigwam has developed brown marks... He used to be mint anyways :<

My Wiggy got regrind over the years... around his neck seam... But it's weird for me I see BOTH things on WigWam - cancer/age spots and regrind, though usually not on the same actual pony... But yes, it's sad. I don't think the Mountain Boys have as many problems, though I do see Sunspot with brown marks a lot... But maybe I just don't see enough of them to know...

Is it strange that Regrind doesn't bother me as much? Like, I prefer mint of course, but the lesser of two evils for me is regrind..even though I know that both are discolourations and both can spread.. but still... Apples and Oranges.

My Fireball has two dots of regrind, but they don't bug me as much because they are in hidden spots.

I agree with you on regrind, It's not as awful to me as Cancer marks, unlesssssss it's like Wind Song where half the time I see her, she's ALL REGRIND with very little non-regrind spaces. Also when the regrind gets so bad it gets that little black dot in the center? Ugh. Reminds me of pony blackheads. *POP!*

And I'm with ya on the - I prefer mint but I can live with it - especially if it's hidden. The one thing I don't really understand is where the whole... "can my other ponies get cancer? regrind?" as if it's contagious. Who started that rumor? lol

^ That's probably true. My Wind Song is also re-grind free, but I've come across probably 3 that I've sold in the past few months who were all above a "5" on a scale of 1-10 having regrind covering their entire body. I do agree that she does look kinda cool hot pink, they should've just made her that color to begin with!

Jinxxy hopefully this is true for you and 4-speed, once you find a mint one, maybe you'll start seeing a bunch of nice ones without age spots. If you do, holla at me girl, lol I also need a mint upgrade, haha

Yes.. I have been looking for him for YEARS.. But he eludes me.. I still find myself asking people on E-bay when I see lots of him and such..

Anyhow, as for the cancer spreading thing, I am not sure what I believe on this! If it is breakdown of the plastic, then it is probably safe to say that it is just THAT pony in particular who is breaking down, but if it is a mold type thing and a pony was resting against another, the mold wouldn't stay on that single pony and would spread to others..
Generally mold looks more like the brownish marbling that you see on seaponies.. but nobody is really quite sure WHAT to call cancer! I have heard it called age dots, smooze etc... *shrugs*

I never know really what to think, so I just avoid brown marks all together
