Update on NichiTsukinoko- Baby time!

Sorry to the mods if I'm posting in the wrong place, I figured since most of you know Nichi from customizing, this is where her friends would look-

NichiTsukinoko has asked me to post an update for her-

 "The doors have been unlocked and I may be going into labor today or tomorrow if all goes well"

So fingers crossed everyone that everything goes well and Nichi's sweet baby girl comes soon! :)

Just checking in. Having lots of painful contractions but they aren't close enough apart yet.  Still it's progress. And they are starting to get closer together. Baby Melody coming any day now. Love you all.

Sorry it has taken me so long to update, but it's been a rough post pregnancy.

So on June 5, at 4:28 am Melody Elisabeth was born. 7lbs, 6oz.  20 inches long.

I have experienced a long list of complications as a result of giving birth to her though, including stictches, hemorrhaging, a blood transfusion of two units of blood, anemia, and two infections so far- One bacterial, one yeast.

That being said, I did get a beautiful baby out of this whole thing and I am happy to say that I gave birth with no pain meds or anesthesia.

Thank you. I think so too. A wonderful blend between me and my husband. And she's growing so fast and learning so fast.  It's an amazing thing to be a part of, even if it is exhausting and time consuming.
