I'm watching Hemlock Grove, Mad Men, the Walking dead and Game of Thrones. I used to watch Revenge and Greys Anatomy but has fallen behind because of weird workhours. Shows I've seen and recommend dearly are Sherlock and Firefly.

Doc Martin on Netflix.
it's pretty entertaining as he has NO social skills and his interactons with the locals are priceless.

Storyline

Dr. Martin Ellingham, a London-based surgeon, relocates to the picturesque seaside village of Port Wenn, establishing himself as the area's general practitioner. He grew up in the area having been raised by his now widowed Aunt Joan Norton. His reasons for leaving London and the high-paid life of a consultant are not clear initially but related to a phobia he has recently developed. He soon meets several of the locals and eccentricity abounds. Martin's situation is made more difficult by what can only be referred as an almost complete lack of an acceptable bedside manner. He is gruff, abrupt and intolerant, not only in issues related to medicine, but to life in general. He and the headmistress of the local school, Louisa Glasson, are clearly attracted to each other and despite their awkwardness, slowly develop a relationship.

I also recently finished an anime series called Mushi shi. its also a live action movie but I never saw that

Storyline

They are neither plants nor animals. They differ from other forms of life such as the micro-organisms and the fungi. Instead they resemble the primeval body of life and are generally known as "Mushi". Their existence and appearance are unknown to many and only a limited number of humans are aware of them. Ginko is a "Mushi-shi" who travels around to investigate and find out more about the "Mushi". In the process, he also lends a helping hand to people who face problems with supernatural occurrences which may be related to the "Mushi".

And the new Dr Who from the 9th -11th DR's. I also watch the older ones but the new generations seem to be way more popular with the younger crowd

I don't know what stuff is available on NetFlix since I don't have that anymore, but here's some of the TV stuff I watch: How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Castle, Gossip Girl, and Veronica Mars. I don't watch too many newer movies, it's rare that I go to the theater or rent them.

Ive really been enjoying Breaking Bad, Sherlock, and others that have slipped my mind. I just can't for the life of me get into Doctor Who. Unless I'm just not watching the right episodes? or season? I also want to start watching Game of Thrones. My boyfriend has the first season on dvd, but our ps3 broke so no bluray.

madhatterda, Firefly and Moonlight are two of my favourite shows.  I have no idea why they only got one season!

Hmm I'm not sure about Firefly, but I believe Moonlight was canceled during the writers strike. A lot of shows went down during that period. Hehe, have you seem Forever Knight? It's basically what Moonlight was based off of in a way. It's cheesy old 80s stuff, but I love it.

I have a friend that keeps telling me to watch Hannibal... so I guess that's pretty good?

Aside from that... Game of Thrones, watch it ASAP! You will be hooked!

I like Grimm, The Walking Dead, CSI, Criminal Minds, Myth Busters, Family Guy, Oddities, and pretty much anything about cryptids.

A movie I always recommend to friends is "Kinky Boots".  It's a 2005 british comedy.  It's actually not what you are probably thinking it is like from the title!  Believe me, when I had an online gaming friend years ago recommend it I was kind of taken aback by the title.  I found it at the rental store and found out that it was nothing like I thought it was about to be.  I liked it so much I bought the movie.

Also the movie "The Help" is really good.  It's a movie that has both a serious side and a comedic side to it.  It might not be 100% historically accurate or anything but it's a small glince at what it was like in that time period, that location, and the people involved in the story.

I don't know if either of these are on Netflix but they are movies worth trying out!

I recently started watching Mad Men and The Borgia and I've been flying through both of them. Apart from that, I'm a huge (obvious) fan of Game of Thrones and can't push it on people enough. I'd also recommend Rome, Deadwood, and The Wire for slightly older, yet great HBO dramas.

For lighter TV, I also like How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Community, Archer, and Parks and Recreation.

I've been marathoning Being Human. It's a fun show if you don't mind the blood.
